Sweet Sunday Sketch 242 {With Deepest Sympathy}

I took a small blogging break this week and only posted a few times. Don't worry, I have been busy behind the scenes preparing for LOTS of new releases. Fun stuff coming in the next two weeks.
Sadly, I needed a sympathy card for a friend. It came together quickly with this week's Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge. Thanks Karen.
I used Whole Lotta Dots in background stamped in Steel Gray ink. I cut a small panel from Sno Cone cardstock and stamped the setntiment from In A Big Way in versamark ink and hit it with some white emobssing powder.

I added a layered Petals 'n Posie and stamped a few more small polka dots onto the top flower. A button and some twine finish it off.

For one more element of color, I added some pretty rolling waves by cutting three different colors of card stock with the Doin' The Wave Confetti cut.

Here is the sketch for this week.

Come Play along: simply make a card with this layout and use the InLinkz button down at the very end of Karen's post to enter your card. The links will close on Friday at 10 PM (Mountain Time). Be sure to link directly to the blog post or gallery image which features your card. You may post a picture of the sketch on your blog, but please save the image to your computer first. Use the keyword SSSC242 if you plan to post your card in an online gallery.

 Don't forget to see what the Sweet Sunday Sketch team has done this week.
Make sure you check out the SSSC crew has done with the sketch. I love how these girls create. It's always inspiring. thanks for stopping by today.

Before you go, check out the Reverse Confetti products I used for today's card.
