Reverse Confetti July SFYTT {still time to play}

Hello, I'm so glad you stopped by today. The latest Reverse Confetti SFYTT challenge has been up for a week now. Have you seen it? We are changing things up a bit from the DT, spreading out our samples a bit to give you more inspiration during the duration of the challenge.

I took some creative liberties with the sketch and opted to use the fun plane from Here We Go for my rectangle element.  I kept it soft and pretty, and I really love how this turned out.

Here's a close up of the plane. I pulled out my Amuse inks (yeah, forgot I had these and that I loved them so much). I even ordered the brand new colors from Fresh Ink (same manufacturer) to add to my collection. I stamped the plane elements first and then used the coordinating Here We Go dies to cut out the plane and the prop. Soooo easy! I added a sweet little die cut heart from the Love Note die set. That teeny heart is from the small heart border die. I cut it once, then moved my paper down and re-cut again to get the heart to pop out on it's own.

I added the sweet scalloped border using the Double Edge Scallop Border die. The sentiment from Here We Go was then stamped in black ink along the edge.

Finishing touches were some Pretty Pink Sequins and charcoal bakers twine. Love!

Here is the sketch for this month's challenge.  So fun and open to LOTS of interpretations.

Here are the details you need to know…
  • The sketch link list will be open from the 1st until noon CST on the 14th. The SFYTT button is  posted on the sidebar.  Click on it to be taken to the current SFYTT post and link list.
  • Reverse Confetti stamps are required to win.  This is a way we get to thank our customers for using our stamps.  Anyone is welcome to play, though!
