TCP Sneak Peeks {day 3}

 Welcome back to another fabulous day with The Cat's Pajamas sneak peeks. We have two darling floral based sets: Nature’s Hello & Simple Blooms.
First up is this adorable PJ. He's holding a giant flower. Those floating petals are individual images, so I was able to place them where I wanted to give the effect of them falling.

 I used I used a layout from The Deconstructed Sketch no.154, I just left off the little flag pieces.  I used my favorite circle frame die from Framed Up 2. I used the Let's Polka papers to piece up my daisy and colored up PJ with my copics using a stippled coloring technique to give him more realistic fur.

I fuzzy cut my stamped image, but if you aren't fond of cutting images by hand, Alma has added some fabulous cut files to the shop so you can use your electronic cutting machine to get a prefect and easy cut of the stamp sets. You can find them HERE, they are called Cutables.  Best part.....they are FREE. You will be able to download so that you can concentrate on creating, rather than cutting.
There will also be two new 3D card Cutables, Step Out Card and Card in a Box that will be available for purchase. Once you purchase it,  TCP will give you the pattern for the card and mats in .svg, .studio and .pdf file for those of you who don’t have a cutting machine.
For those of you who don’t know, Julie Masse and her family will be adopting a very special little girl from China.  Adoption is expensive. And, every bit counts . So, for the next two months, The Cat’s Pajamas will be donating the proceeds from our Cutables to the Masse’s China Adoption.

Moving on to the Simple Blooms stamp set, I've got this pretty card. I stamped an array of those silhouette wild flowers in a great mix of colors.

I stamped the sentiment in Soft Navy ink. I love how the dark blue looks with all the purple. You'll also notice I used the Dots Cutups in the background. I often use this cover plate to emboss the dots in the background. It's a bit more subtle that way. Here I actually cut my dots, but kept them in their negative spaces. This achieves a similar look but the cut marks are more defined.

I used Framed Up 2 again on this card, but this time just the little fishtail flag piece. I added some ribbon and a coordinating button with a double twine bow.

Don't forget to stop by SCS and comment in our In it To Win It thread
You'll have a chance to win the new stamps each day.
Plus it's always fun over there!

And the party!
