Sweet Sunday Sketch 209 {You are}

Good morning Sunday! Thanks for coming by to check out my card for this week's Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 209. I put my Lil' Inker Design products to work this week for this fun and funky card. I actually really love it. I think it may be the vellum and sequins....I can't seem to put them away. They look great on all styles of cards. 

I used the Stitched and Stripes cover plate for my background image. I cut it four times. The first was from Kraft cs, then I ran it through 3 more times in 3 different patterns from the Studio Calico Printshop paper pad. To match the sketch, I pulled out the three inner stripes and pieced in the pattern paper strips to fit. 

I wanted those colors and patterns to show through, so that's why I chose vellum to stamp my sentiment on. I first cut the vellum from the You Move Me Die-namics and then I stamped two sentiments from Happy Sentiments. TIP: don't forget to let your ink dry completely on the vellum before handling. I used my heat gun to speed up the process. Just remember to keep the heat moving so you don't burn the vellum. You'll know it's dry when you get no more shine in a light from the wet ink. 

I used a Star die cut for my corner, label element and topped it with some pretty sequins (all links below) and a twine bow. I scattered a few more sequins across my card front. I couldn't help it....I love them!
