Retro Sketch {soy happy}

I am in love with this new stamp set from Lawn Fawn, Let's Roll (all links posted below). As soon as I saw it, I knew I had to have it (yes, I think that a lot, hehehe). We are a sushi loving family, those little faces just can't help and make you smile, and I adore good, punny sentiment. This set has it all!! I also picked up the sweet Lawn Fawn 6x6 paper pad, Let's Polka. It's a fantastic basic pad with great, fun colors and patterns.

I stamped the images onto x-press it blending card stock and then colored them up with my copics markers. I then cut them out (there are matching dies, but I saved money and opted to get another stamp set instead. I don't mind fussy cutting, when the images are so easy to cut, like these).

I used a Grout Gray panel cut with the the amazing Stitched Rectangle die by Lil' Inker Designs. Those stitch marks add just the right amount of subtle detail that I loooooove lately.

I added the sentiment to a fishtail flag stax die and used a lasso'd twine with some pretty sequins for the finishing touches.
I used this week's Retro Sketch no.105

Here is this week's sketch:

Thanks for stopping by today!
