Happy Birthday Circles

Lil' Inker Designs is celebrating their third birthday. They have a fun challenge up and I am playing along.  You can read all the Challenge Details HERE.

I was inspired by the cluster of balloons in the Inspiration Photos. I don't have any of their balloon dies, BUT I have those freakin' amazing Stitched Mats-Circle dies, so that's what I used.. LOOOOVE them.

At first I just cut out a bunch of circles from pattern paper. Once I arranged them on my card front, I felt like they needed just a little something else. Then.....I remembered the added feature of these dies.....the stitching is left on the positive AND the negative. It was perfect! I lined up the biggest circle I used onto my card base where I wanted those large circle to be. Then I cut them out of the white card stock, leaving behind a great stitched detail. I simply placed the pattern paper circle right back into the negative space.

The sentiment is from Flags and Tags and I used the matching dies to cut out the banner piece.  I embossed the sentiment with some neon green embossing powder. Yum!  A few festive enamel dots were scattered throughout.  I used a Sno Cone card base to mount my image panel on to.

Here's the inspiration photo from this challenge.  Come Play along. There is an amazing prize up for grabs.

and here are the Products I used:
