Unity Thursday {again}

It's an exciting
 week
with Unity Stamp Co.

We have an awesome
new release
with a fabulous new
artist for Unity.
Please welcome
Stephanie Ackerman.

I know you're gonna love
what she has  designed.

I used this new stamp
{small things}

and some mixed media products to
make this card.

I created my own background with an embossing folder and some
Gelatos. I then added some Gesso  over the top to help
mute the colors and then
added some stitching around the edges.
I am playing along with Mona's new
Mixed Media no.3. I loved the colors of this challenge.

After my background was complete
I added some acrylic paints and a bit of doodling
to the edges of the sentiment panel.
I tucked in a few swirls from my Fancy Flourishes Die-namics
were added behind the words.
One more detail I added was a few of the aqua enamel dots.

It's also time for the new
Be{inspired} Challenge!!!

I'm hopping along this week
because I couldn't wait to
play with these new
stamps and with this challenge!

These colors are fantastic!!!
some of my favorite, right now.

I made birthday card for this one, using this month's special stamp set.
It's so cool and  you'll want to get it at
the special pricing while you can.

While I still had out my Gelatos, I added some color to this
specialty woodgrain kraft paper.

The stars are from last month's SMAK kit.

I was able to add multiple colors to my sentiment by
masking off portions of it before adding each color.
I gave it a huff and stamped it.
I added some distress ink along the edges.

Thanks for checking me out today.
there is MORE to see.
Karen is up next.
She has a gorgeous canvas to share today.

If you get lost along the way
be sure to hop on over to the Unity Blog
for all the details.
