CAS228-You're Swell

I was super excited to see the new Summer team on the CAS Challenges at Splitcoast. What a talented group of women, and one of my stampy friends, Sarah, made the team.  Yeah! I have a soft spot in my heart for this Monday challenge since I was once on the DT years ago when the challenges first got started. WOW! they are on 228....how awesome is that?!!
It was the perfect way to kick start my mojo  for the week. You can read about the challenge HERE, it's a masking on a single layer card challenge. 
I cut a circle from some Eclipse masking paper and used that to sponge in the yummy new ink colors from Stampin' Up! in.love. with these new colors. I used almost all of the new IN Colors: coastal cabana, pistachio Pudding, Crisp Cantelope, and Strawberry Slush. The grey is their new grey, it's called smokey slate. I really like it (although it doesn't replace my beloved Going Grey. I still wish they hadn't gotten rid of that basic color). 

 They were perfect for my underwater scene. I still had the Happy Harbor set out and I inked up a few other characters that hadn't seen ink yet. Figured I'd better use it before my next batch of Reverse Confetti Stamps arrive. Did you see their NEW RELEASE? ♥ it!

I used my Circle Stax Die-namics to cut a circle from the masking paper. It is so super easy to work with and gives you great results everytime.
