Tomorrow is the BIG day!! It's almost time for the June release forMy Favorite Things. The fun begins at 8pm over in the MFT forum on Splitcoast. At 10pm you can load up your cart with all the June Brand Spankin' New product!
BUT.....before we begin, we have two more days of teasers. So let's jump right in.
I think the new Die-namics, Chalkboard Frame Builder is awesome! Seriously....the options you have with this set is limitless. You can build frames of ANY size and soooo easily.
I used two of the frame pieces to build this rectangle frame. Simple, just cut two of each size (if you want a square, cut 4 of the same size) and then piece them together. The perfect, mitered corners are a DREAM!!!
I decided to frame up the pretty Blooming Rose stamp set. This set is gorgeous. You can produce stunning roses of three different sizes with this two-step stamping set.
I made three blooms here. I cut them all from Smooth White Cardstockwith the coordinating die, Rose Bouquet Die-namics.
I used allMFT inks to create these tone-on-tone roses , including two of the new colors-Bubble Gum, and Grapesicle. The other colors I used are Pink Lemonade, Grape jelly, Lemon Drop, and Orange Fizz. The darker color was used for the detail stamps.
After I had them inked up and cut I gave each one a spritz with the new MIX-ables Sheer Shimmer Mist. Awesome, stuff.
I created my own background by stamping the smaller Blooming Rose in white ink on thekraft cs. I tied it up with a pretty seam binding bow and added a Pink LemonadeDecorative Circle Stax tag. I spritzed that with the Shimmer Mist, also. The sentiment is from last month's Peaceful Wildflowersstamp set and it was stamped withHot Fudge ink.
thanks for stopping by today. Be sure to hop on over to the MFT blogfor today's reveal and info.
