No joke....you give me butterflies

Happy April! I had every intention of having this card up at midnight, well it's now mid afternoon and here I am. That's ok....it's fun to share cute cards anytime of day, right ;) Considering I spent almost 2 hours on the phone this morning with tech support trying to restore email and internet connection, and I have a house full of boys on their last day of Spring Break, I think I am doing pretty good. 

I used the sweet new Doodle Garden stamp set, Fluttering By and Jen's Deconstructing Sketch 95.  I colored her up with my copic markers, using the latest MFT Academy session by Michele Boyer. I tried a new hair color combo and followed her step by step techniques for coloring hair. Awesome info on that MFT Post. Go check it out if you haven't. 

I used momento ink to stamp her onto Xpress blending cs (love that MFT carries this copic coloring cardstock).  After I colored her and cut her out, I added some of my favorite glitter, Rocky Candy Distress glitter by Tim Holtz. I just love the texture it adds without covering up the coloring. 

I used my Crate Paper DIY papers for the backdrop. The sentiment is stamped onto a Oval Open scallop  Doily Duo with yummy Blu Raspberry ink. I used MFT Natural card stock for my card base and the oval doily. The bottom of the card was wrapped up with a pretty Whip Cream grosgrain bow. 

I also added another fun sentiment to the inside. Love this scripty font from Let's Toast.
