I used the INSERT IT-INSTAFRAME Die-namics to frame his pretty new smile. The stamp set, CAPTURED MEMORIES has some sentiments that were fun to add to my layout.
I love that the smile stamp fits perfectly onto the double ended flag die from SENTIMENT STRIPS. The Instaframe was cut from Steel Grey.
I also added a long border with the NOTEBOOK EDGE DIE-NAMICS. It's been awhile since I had used that one. Forgot how cut it is. I wrapped some Shore Twine around the edge of the die cut piece (hiding that seam, again) and then added the "say Cheese" speech bubble. Again, MFT always thinks of the little things. This stamp fits the smallest, SAY WHAT DIE-NAMICS.
The title was done with two of our alphabet dies-HIGHRISE UPPER ALPHABET and the BY THE LETTERS LOWERCASE APLHABET. I placed them on top of one of the FISHTAIL FLAG LAYERS STAX DIE-NAMCIS (I just extended the length of it to make it a little longer. You can see how I did that HERE.
I tucked in an INSTERT IT DIE-NAMICS piece behind my title (like the sketch shows) and added a little journaling and the "best day ever" from ACCENT IT-STORY STARTERS.
Here is the sketch for this month's Challenge.
or if you are working a PL album, here is that version of the sketch. Both Sketches use the same keyword: MFTSCRAP3.
We sure hope you'll play along. don't be scared, just jump in and make a page. There's a Prize up for grabs....how about a there will be a random draw each month from all the participants who have uploaded their Scrap Samples to SCS using the proper keyword ( MFTSCRAP3).
Two winners will be chosen each month and the winners will receive a $15 gift voucher. If the winner used MFT stamps, they will receive $5 in bonus bucks, for a total of $20.
How awesome is that??? What are you waiting for??
