Day 5 with MFT December Teasers {cup of thanks}

I ♥ the à la modes by My Favorite Things! They are always so fresh and chic. This month's is called,YOU'RE MY CUP OF TEA,  and I looove her giant cuppa tea. Coffee is my drink of choice, but I do enjoy a warm cup of green tea or mint tea from time to time.
I had more fun wih the Walnut Grove papers (it's lovely with Kraft cs)  and a few Die-namics, new and old. The new INSTAFRAME is sooooo fantastic and perfect for framing just about any image. You can see it's not just for scrapping.

I ran the INSTAFRAME through my Vagabond twice, once with x-press blending card stock and then again with the striped paper.  I stamped her up onto the square of the  x-press blending card stock and colored her with copics. I then pieced up that giant mug and added lots of shading with my copics.  When I was done with her, I fit the finished square into the frame. Love that!

 I wrapped up the bottom part of the frame with some of that lovely Hemp Twine and stamped the sentiment onto the new POSTAGE STAX DIE-NAMICS.  I then added a pretty Layered Rose (the smallest flower), cut twine and layered up and finished with a Lemon Drop Button.

You'll also see, I used the Postage Edge Border Die-namics along the bottom of the polka dotted paper. It's always fun to use coordinating shapes and dies to carry out a "theme" through out my card.

Since I only stamped the upper part of the à la mode on my card front, I decided to add the full image inside of my card, along with a few strips of the same patterns. A quick stitch around the edges and now I have a sweet spot to write my note.
