My Favorite Things-November Release!!

Welcome back!!! Hasn't this past week been a blast?!! I love release week, for many reasons, but most of all because of all of you! Thanks so much for all your kind words and love you have sent with all of my Teaser Time posts.

It is release night, so that means you can FINALLY SHOP!!! Check out all of the BRAND SPANKIN' NEW products from My Favorite Things.

Today I've got a few things to share. I had A LOT of fun with the new PI-Elf Girl stamp set. I just think she is darling and can work so well with many of the other products releasing this month. Let me show you.

I fell in love again with last years Echo Park papers....I thought they were perfect to piece up this sweet little Elf Girl. I first stamped here onto x-press blending card stock. Stamped her with Momento Tuxedo Black ink and then colored her with copics. I only colored her skin and hair on this one, and pieced up the rest of her out fit. I topped her hat and shoes with a touch of bling (a olive green rhinestone!).
I just adore the new SNOW DRIFTS DIE-NAMICS.  I cut a few rolling hills with SWEET TOOTH card stock and then dusted them with some of my favorite Rock Candy Glitter.  The sentiment was stamped along the bottom in the wonderful new WILD CHERRY INK. Be sure to pop a re-fill into your cart when you order the ink pad....while the pad is juicy, you'll want to be prepared when it comes time to juice up your pad.

Here is another look at the ELF GIRL. I cut her out with the OVAL STAX 1 & OVAL STAX 2 DIE-NAMICS. The larger oval is WILD CHERRY  card stock.  I added a single glittery snowflake (LET IS SNOW DIE-NAMICS) and a single JELLYBEAN GREEN BUTTON with some MARASCHINO twine. So festive and cute!

I couldn't resist using this ELF GIRL again, but this time I made her into a tag as a hanging embellie for my handstitched stocking. For the past few years I have made a dozen or so felt stocking ornament. I always had to "wing it" and free hand cut my stocking. NOT THIS YEAR!!! woohooo!!! I used the new JUMBO CHRISTMAS STOCKING DIE-NAMICS to quicking cut two pieces of MFT KRAFT colored FELT. The scallop topper was cut from WILD CHERRY FELT.

I did a tutorial last year HERE on my blog on how to put it together and add the blanket stitch details.

Aside from wanting to make a stocking, the whole idea for this project came from this sweet little sentiment, "candy cane wishes". I tied up a bundle of festive candy canes and cut the smallest DECORATIVE CIRCLE STAX DIE-NAMICS from KRAFT card stock to make a custome tag. I stamped the sentiment (from STITCHED STOCKINGS) in JELLYBEAN GREEN INK and then added some DARLING DOTS in WILD CHERRY INK.  A double bow of twine holds it all together.

Here is a closer look at the beautiful holly leaves that are included with the JUMBO CHRISTMAS STOCKING DIE-NAMICS. I cut them from JELLYBEAN GREEN  card stock and then sponged on some coordinating JELLYBEAN GREEN INK. I am over the mooon excited about all the matching REPLENISHMENTS that MFT is now selling! You will LOVE the ink!

I  love adding those jingle bells and then I added the ELF GIRL with a small o-ring.

Wrapping this post up (well, almost....there are still a few more pictures to share!) I saved my favorite for last.  I stamped the PI-ELF GIRL stamp one more time on x-press blending card stock and colored her up with copics. This time I added a red rhinestone to her hat and shoes.
With this card I used the largest DECORATIVE CIRCLE STAX DIE-NAMICS to create an ornament to hold my elf, the sentiment and a gorgeous DAINTY BOW topper.

Making bows has never been easier! I sponged on some JELLYBEAN GREEN INK to all the edges of my bow pieces and then put them togehter.  This is the smallest bow size, but there is also a large one included when you buy the Die-namics.  I topped the bow with a PAVER RED BUTTON.

Speaking of PAVER RED.....you seriously NEED this color. It is soooo rich and beautiful.

I cut the largerest ornament with it here and.  I then layered on some circles, CIRCLE STAX 1 & CIRCLE STAX 2, one in JELLYBEAN GREEN and the other in KRAFT. I HAD to add a few DARLING DOTS. I  am a sucker for polka dots. I love the WILD CHERRY INK stamped onto KRAFT card stock.

The sentiment was added to a SENTIMENT STRIPS DIE-NAMICS piece. Yep, stamped in WILD CHERRY INK and then the edges all sponged with JELLYBEAN GREEN INK.

A quick zip around my pattern paper with the sewing machine  and then I rolled up and distressed the edges.  I tied up the card with a giant cotton twill ribbon. I had added the ornament to the card base with foam dimensionals. While they hold it all in place, the recipient could remove it from the card and use it as an actual ornament if they chose.
