Two fabulous sets debuting today: Inspired by Travel; Fred Bear and the Pinwheel. I have a card done up with both. I think you're going to like both of these sets.
I sure do. I LOVE this new travel set. The images are fantastic...I couldn't decide which one I wanted to use, so I let the designer paper I chose do the dictating. LOL! I loved the world map on this paper by October Afternoon, and it had some ships on it, so I went with the gorgeous ship. As usual, and true to the Inspired By line of stamps....they are so easy to color up if you choose to. The guess work is taken out, by the shading already there in the image.
I used a few of the newest Die-namics with this one. I stamped the ship image onto x-press blending cs and then cut it out with the SQUARE 1 STAX , the grey mat behind it was cut with the next largest square from the SQUARE 2 STAX DIE-NAMICS.
I used more of the DESIGNER LABEL 2 STAX on the inside and stamped another sentiment from the set, along with a partial image of the ship. The card base on this one is Fossil cs.
Next up is my cutie patottie FRED BEAR card. There isn't anything this bear can't do, and I love him for that! lol! He always makes me smile and this month is NO DIFFERENT. I did a card and a coordinating tag with this one.
It's almost hidden, but there is a strip of the NOTCHED BORDER DIE-NAMICS stitched on to that floral panel. It's all tied up with some more pretty MFT Grosgrain-orange fizz.
I seriously LOOOVE these dies. I even added a smalled tag as a re-enforcement to the top of my tag (saw Inge do this on yesterday's post and I loved it! so I had to try it!). I added more of that same ribbon and embellished with a button and twine.
Kim's Blog has the DT line up for today's Teasers! Hop on over there for the full set reveal and all the details.

Check out the DESIGNER LABEL 2 STAX DIE-NAMICS. Serious Swooning going on here! You can also see the cool NOTCHED BORDER. I told you yesterday it's great on masculine cards. The ribbon is more of the Lemon Drop MFT Grosgrain.
Next up is my cutie patottie FRED BEAR card. There isn't anything this bear can't do, and I love him for that! lol! He always makes me smile and this month is NO DIFFERENT. I did a card and a coordinating tag with this one.
For my card I cut out Pinwheel Fred with a RECTANGLE STAX 1 DIE-NAMICS on x-press blending cs. He's colored up with copics and then I pieced up his pinwheel. I did tuck in the new SQUARE STAX 1 & 2 (the piece of orange wood grain paper). A few tilted panels play up the playfulness of this card.
I also knew I wanted to use the giant, and oh-so-fun PINWHEEL DIE-NAMICS....so what better way than to add it to a fabulous new TRADITIONAL TAG STAX DIE-NAMICS.
I added a few more details to the tag by stamping Fred in Soft Suede ink, stitching on more of the NOTCHED BORDER DIE-NAMICS, and then adding the sentiment to the smaller banner from FIRST PLACE AWARD RIBBON (betcha thought I forgot about that Die-namics??? NOPE! ).
That Fred bear is a cutie! Love the colors!
