Man, it stinks to be sick. I have to say I pride myself on being a fairly healthy gal. I have to be healthy....life doesn't stop if I get sick. Well, Hubby started out little family vacation last week (to the Smoky Mountains) with a sore throat and I was the lucky one to bring home the soar throat as a souvenir-YUCK!!!
Needless to say, I am soooooo happy with myself that I worked ahead on a few of our WSC sketches. I was in NO mood to craft yesterday.
I'm also happy that thanks to THIS great stamp by MFT-An Apple for You, (and our March Creative Challenge) I am way ahead of the game on my end of the year teacher gifts.
I used a few scallop Die-namics on my card. The teeny scallops are from the SMALL SCALLOP BORDER. I used them to help accent the pretty background paper.
I also wanted to help my ALM panel to pop, so I used the SCALLOP RIBBON DIE-NAMICS. I love that this border has a double layer of teeny tiny open scallops, but I really love that I can use just one of the edges to accent a layer.
Here is this week's sketch. It's one of my go-to sketches and that skinny panel just calls for any of the à la modes. I'm certain we'll be seeing lots of these chic chicks in the gallery this week!
Absolutely gorgeous! LOVE the green apple - different but delicious looking!
