MFT VIP-Amazing and Magical

Happy Sprummer! that's my son's word for this crazy warm weather we are having.  Temps reaching 84 in MARCH!!!! Trying hard to resist the AC.....good thing I've got my stamps to keep me occupied and busy and distracted.....it's VIP time!!!

Welcome to the mid-month MFT VIP new product Tour.  It's full of magic and wonder, with two new Pure Innocence stamp sets and fun Die-namics.

  • Pure Innocence Magician stamp set
  • Pure Innocence Scientist stamp set
  • Amazing & Magical Sentiments mini (VIP exclusive stamp set - will never be offered for sale or be available again $9 value, FREE)
  • Chevron Stripes Die-namics Die
  • Pinking Edge Die-namics Die

What an amazing line up, right?!!! Two Die-namics and 3 stamp sets....all for 1 low price and you get it in your hot little hands 2 weeks EARLY!!!!  The VIP kit sells out FAST.....so Snatch it up QUICK!

First up is my little chemist.  The stamp set is called PI- Scientist Stamp Set and it is Cute, Cute, CUTE!!!!
I stamped her on x-press blending cs and colored her with copics. I layered it up with the OVAL STAX DIE-NAMICS. I added a touch of Crystal effects to the beaker and a dab of stickles to her hair clip.

The sentiment is stamped onto a  FILE TAB DIE-NAMICS and it invited you to open the card up, to see what else she has to say.

Before I show you what I did on the inside, I also want to point out the newest Die-namics-CHEVRON STRIPES and PINKING BORDER (see it tucked behind the main image-it's there).

Here is a look at the inside of the card. I did it up to match the outside. I layered up a few of the smaller, Oval Stax 1 and 2.  I really love how you get so many layering options with these two sets of Die-namics.

You also get another look at the PINKING EDGE DIE-NAMICS and the new CHEVRON STRIPES

Now the PI-Magician stamp set.  I can't decide which one I like better? Good thing I don't have to-ha! This card I used the same papers, Joy Ride by Cosmo Cricket (proud of myself for diggin' into my stash!).

I stamped the sentiment on a skinny rectangle and then used the PINKING EDGE DIE-NAMICS give some interest and help draw your eye up to the words.

I also wanted to play around with the CHEVRON STRIPES.  I'm warning you....they are addicting and really fun to play with. There are sooooo many options for combinations.  It's kind of like working with a puzzle.

I settled on a combination of the skinny and wide stripes, with and without spacing. Seriously, the more you play, the more looks you get.  It's fun to find a combination that is just right.

Here's a closer look and the PI and the Cheveron stripes.

This month was the perfect excuse to pull out some Test Tubes I have had in my stash for years.  I thought they fit with the magical and amazing theme this month! I followed THIS tutorial from SCS to make the cute lil' box.

I used some coordinating papers, lots of CHEVRON STRIPES and a Notched Tag Die-namics to pretty it up.  I filled the test tube with jelly beans (Starburst Orginal flavor are my FAVE!!!!). I finished it up by wrapping it with twine.

The sentiment is from the FREE mini set you get with this VIP Kit. It's always great to have LOTS of coordinating words to go with your stamp sets. :)

MFT card stock used on these projects are: Fossil, Tangy Orange, and x-press Blending cs.
