MFT-Release Night New Product Tour

Wow! and WOW! What a fantastic week this has been. I've had so much fun sharing all my My Favorite Things March Release creations with you.  The Boutique is now OPEN!!! You can see all the Brand Spankin' New products HERE!

If you've already shopped....congrats! I can't wait to see what you do with your new goodies.  If you are holding off until after you see our New Product Tour...that's great, too! Either way...don't wait...I'm sure some of the products will sell out FAST!

Tonight I get to share a few more projects I've done with the CLEARLY SENTIMENTAL ABOUT PETS stamp set. I'm an animal lover!

When I read this sentiment....right away I knew I wanted to pair it up with the birdhouse from HOMEPUN BIRDHOUSE....I added some WOOD GRAIN FENCE to make it into a real home, not a birdhouse, but a DOGHOUSE.

I also knew once I got the OVAL STAX DIE-NAMICS that I would be making some oval shaped cards. I used the two largest ones from STAX 1 AND STAX 2 to create my card. Here's how what it looks like from the back.

I acutally use a folded card base, and slide the die down a bit before I cut it...this makes the hinge.  Then I cut, another single oval from the same cardstock, Fossil, and adhere that to my card base.  This way my "hinge" is hidden.

Detail shot of the house.  I added texture with the cardboard (painted with Linen Crackle Paint-Tim Holtz) and brulap.  I added a sweet little PET CHARM DIE-NAMICS to the button and twine, combo.  Along with a few tufts of grass from the FRESH CUT GRASS DIE-NAMICS

And here is the sentiment....it fit so nicely on the FIRST PLACE AWARD RIBBON DIE-NAMICS.

Sadly, I had to make a card for our neighbor that lost their dog a few weeks ago.  I knew this set was PERFECT for the occasion. Thank-you Kim for included this sentiment in this set.

Pretty My Mind's Eye papers set the tone of this card.  I did the sentiment up on LAYERED LABEL DIE-NAMICS.  I filled in some space on the sentiment oval with a few Finishing Flourishes from last release.

The card was  finished it off with the BEAUTIFUL Royal ROSE.  What a great addition to the Rolled Flower collection by MFT. I cut it from some MFT Felt (from an older pack). Have you seen all the new colors??? Here are a few of the new colors I picked up! See them all HERE!

I'll send you on your way....Kim's Blog has all the Release Night details! Hop on over there!  And don't forget there is secret BLOG CANDY hidden on one of the DT blogs....leave comments along the way for a chance to win!

Thanks for stopping by, today, and every day! You make me S.M.I.L.E.
