Today is a day of flowers. It is the 3rd. set in the series of the Inspired by Flowers line. Each set is goreous and showcases 3 beautiful flowers.  This month is no different.  I've got a few cards for you.  I decided to color up the water lily first, and kept it simple.

I even went old school and pulled out my spritzer tool and my aqua painter. I colored in the flower with that and some reinkers. Texture was added with an embossing folder and new ribbon.

Then I decided to get a little techy and pulled out my embossing powder and heat gun. I embossed the flowers in the next two cards with some white embossing powder. Fossil cardstock is my base in both cards.

This first one I left the background in white, and then accented a single poppy by coloring it with copics. The sentiment is accented with the Bracket Tab die-namic and a bow with some Black ribbon to pretty it up!

I LOVE how this next card turned out. It's a rather CAS layout, but packs a lot of punch with the flowers being embossed on pattern paper and punched out into squares.

I added the Solid Bracket border die-namic to the top and finished it off with a new flower die-namic, Prima Donna Petals. LOVE them!

The 3-D effect from them is just fantastic and it is really easy to create this look.  Here I kept them white (in white, I think they could almost pass as snowflakes, too!).  Here's a closer look at the embossing detail and flowers. I only layered up two of the petals.

Hop on over to Kim's Blog for the full list of teaser posts today. Thanks for popping by!
