MFT Shop & Hop

It's time for our My Favorite Things Shop & Hop DT blog hop. It's always a great way to cap off the Release Party fun. Hopefully you just came from Melody's blog, if not you'll want to start at the beginning with Kim's blog, she's got all the details on tonight's release. There is Secret Blog candy (a $15 MFT gift certificate) hidden amongst one of the DT's blogs. Leave comments along the way for your chance to win!
I get to share a fun little project I created for my boys. I'm so proud of myself for thinking ahead, and now I'll be one step ahead of the game come Halloween time. I created these sweet little treat pouches for my kiddos.
Thanks to the super cute new Stephanie Fizer set, TinyTown Halloween, these came together easily. I wanted to say quickly, but in all honesty, I spent some time with these. I guess I got a little carried away with all the piecing, stitching, and die cutting! It was soooo much fun! It's also a bonus of creating before the actual holiday arrives- you can take your time putting your projects together. I made up 3 little treat pouches for my boys. I used lots of images from the set, there are just so many cuties and fun sentiments to help make any Halloween project SCREAM! I had to add one of the new die-namics dies, just because, so I thought the star border worked well with the Halloween theme. If you can't tell, I {heart} my die-namics dies. If you can, get them ALL! you won't be disappointed. While I only cut paper here on my project, I loooove that you can die cut lots and lots of materials-felt, cork, fabric, aluminum, just to name a few. I also finished off these sweet treats with some Earth Girl Buttons and my other fave embellie, MFT twill! Here's a close up of each of them individually, so you can see all the pretty details.
Thanks for stopping by and for all your sweet, kind words all week.
I'm sending you on your way.....lots to see and share. Up next is the wonderfully, talented, Cindy!
