This week we're creating with  blue, yellow, and greenI hope they inspire you to create something special. We are using generic colors, so as long as you use the color values shown, you are all set! As always, please feel free to incorporate any neutrals that you need in your design as well!

If you upload to a public gallery, please use the keyword CTD499, and please use #ctd499 and #colorthrowdown on social media sites. Also, when linking up your card using the linky tool at the bottom of the post, please link to your specific post, not a generic link to your blog. All of the "rules" are in the right sidebar, please check them out if you are in doubt! One last detail to remember, no digital designs - only digital images that are printed off and colored will be allowed. Totally digital designs will be removed from the link up.

I pulled out this gorgeous floral set from Lil' Inker Designs. It's called Jar of Flowers and I inked up the blooms and greenery in the challenge colors. I first cut some water color card stock with the Rounded Rectangle die and then stamped the jar image with some water proof ink and used the Taylored Expressions Liquid watercolors to make the water and shadows.

I then got busy on the blooms and used the coordinating Jar of Flowers Dies to cut them out. I added the sentiment with the new Hello Word die. That shadow die is awesome. I hope to see more word dies like this in the LID line up. Here's a close up of the flowers and die.

Check out the beautiful creations from the team this week! They are sure to inspire you, they always inspire me!! Have fun creating, we cannot wait to see what you come up with using these colors!!

Reverse Confetti June Stock Your Stash-Hello

Have you Stocked Your Stash yet?? You still have time to play along with the Reverse Confetti new challenge.  Stock Your Stash.....giving you an excuse to bulk up your card stash at home. Each month there will be a new theme. This month we have a Hello Theme. You can read all about it on the RC Blog.

I combined lots of RC on my card today. The starting point was the Hello Square Confetti Cuts and Mist card stock. I also knew I wanted to turn it into a shaker card. I used some Distress Oxide inks to create the background, while that was drying, I adhered a square of clear acetate behind the  the hello die. I added some sequins to the background  and adhered the Hello Square Confetti Cut with foam strips.

I then stamped the panda from Miso Happy, added some shading with my copics. I then cut it out with the Miso Happy Confetti Cuts. I then added the heart balloon from Take Flight

Here are the challenge details.

There will be a new Stock Your Stash challenge posted on the Reverse Confetti blog on the 1st of each month.

The sketch link list will be open from the 1st until noon CST on the 29th of the month. The link list will be on each of the STOCK YOUR STASH posts.

Reverse Confetti stamps and/or Confetti Cuts are required to win.  This is a way we get to thank our customers for using our stamps.  Anyone is welcome to play, though!

You may enter as many times as you wish.

Use #SYSChallenge when playing along with this challenge.

There will be a random winner selected each month and that person will receive a $20 gift certificate to the Reverse Confetti store. The winner of challenge will be posted on the Reverse Confetti blog at the end of the month.

Color Throwdown 498- hello flamingo

Hello there!  Lynn is our hostess for this week's Color Throwdown Challenge #498!  She found this week’s inspiration photo while searching for ideas for her daughter’s birthday cake and thought the flamingos and colors were fun for summer. I hope you'll like creating with the colors Peach, Pale Pink, Hot Pink and Green for this week's challenge and I hope they inspire you to create something special. We are using generic colors, so as long as you use the color values shown, you are all set! As always, please feel free to incorporate any neutrals that you need in your design as well!

If you upload to a public gallery, please use the keyword CTD498, and please use #ctd498 and #colorthrowdown on social media sites. I love the flamingo from Think Pink. I colored up the bird and added a touch of green from the challenge colors with the puddle image from the set.I added the hot pink color to the flamingo and then used the Think Pink Confetti Cuts to cut it out.

I layered the Hello Square Confetti Cuts. I cut it out in Premium Polar White card stock and then blended in Peach and Piggy Bank ink to finish off the challenge colors.

CAS(e) this Sketch #276- Seriously, You Rock!

I am playing along with the current CAS(e) this Sketch challenge. it has been a really long time since I have linked up to this one. I loved the stars in the background and I took this sketch literal. I die cut stars from the Reverse Confetti set Seeing Stars Confetti Cuts. I cut them from Bumblebee, Stone, and Stormy card stocks.

I RARELY combine companies on a card, but for this one I added some Lil' Inker Designs for my sentiment. I LOVE the Seriously word die and finished off the sentiment with the Seriously Awesome stamp set, in Stormy ink. This card only took me 8 minutes to create and it's perfect for the occasion I needed it for.

Stop by the challenge Blog
to see the sketch.

Thanks for stopping by.

Color Throwdown 497-with sympathy

Hi, everyone!   Lori is our hostess for this week’s Color Throwdown challenge.  The colors from this week's inspiration photo are coral, aqua, yellow, and green.  The colors are generic and it's fine if you want to add in other neutrals along with the challenge colors.

Once you’ve finished your card or other paper crafting project using the colors, add a direct link to your creation using the linky tool at the bottom of the post.  And, don’t forget to use the keyword CTD497 if you upload your project to an online gallery. You can use the keywords #ctd497 and #colorthrowdown if you upload to any social media sites (yes, we're on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter!).  All of the challenge "rules" are in the right sidebar in case you have any questions.  One last detail to remember, no digital designs.  Only digital images that are printed off and colored will be allowed.  Totally digital designs will be removed from the link up.

Sadly, I had to send a sympathy card last week, so I worked ahead with these colors and made this card. Thankfully I had the gorgeous Tall Blooms stamp set with the perfect sentiment and beautiful flowers. I watercolored them up with some RC inks in Bellini, Coral, Pistachio, and Iced Aqua.

I added in the soft Buttercup card stock cut with the Woodgrain Confetti Cut and then layered that over the Eyelet Cover Panel in Premium Polar White card stock. The sentiment from Tall Blooms was stamped in Midnight ink.

Check out the beautiful creations from the team this week! They are sure to inspire you, they always inspire me!! Have fun creating, we cannot wait to see what you come up with using these colors!!

Lil' Inker Designs June Release-Day 2

It is day two of the June Release by Lil' Inker Designs. If you missed the kick off yesterday, be sure to stop by and leave some love for a chance to WIN the full release. We are back today with more of the new release products.

Today I am sharing some baby love. I combined a whole lot of JUST RELEASED dies to make this card. I started with the awesome background. It's called Perfectly Plaid Cover die and it looks great alone or layered up (by flipping the die around) to create a multi-colored plaid.

I then cut out the onesie from Baby Onesie Shaker die. Isn't it great that you can use it in multiple ways?? I obviously didn't create a shaker, instead I just gave it a quick run thru my die cut machine. Check out the stitched detail, love it! I then tucked in some of the gorgeous XL Perky  Posie dies. Dude! those flowers are some of my faves from LID in the original size (check 'em out here), so I was stoked when Laura created them in this jumbo size. yay! Oh, how I  love variety! I stamped a sentiment from Little One stamp set onto the onsie die cut and then added in one of the Baby Word Tags dies. Soft, pretty, and oh-so-sweet!
