Color Throwdown 445-You're Swell

Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday!

Jodi is here with our newest Color Throwdown Challenge, #CTD445! I am SO in love with this color combination of navy, light pink, white and gold, and I hope you all love it as well!  Remember, we use generic colors, so if you use any navy, light pink, white and gold, you are, well, as good as gold!  You can always add in any neutrals, as well!

If you upload to a public gallery, please use the key words CTD445, and please use #ctd445 and #colorthrowdown on social media sites. Also, when linking up your card using the linky tool at the bottom of the post, please link to your specific post, not a generic link to your blog--all of the "rules" are in the right sidebar, please check them out if you're in doubt. One last detail to remember -  no digital designs--only digital images that are printed off and colored will be allowed. Totally digital designs will be removed from the link up.

I played up the stripes with the awesome Big Stripes Cover Panel in Navy. I used the Cloud White card stock for my card base. I then pulled in the pink with the anchor from the Seaside stamp set. I samped it in Piggy Bank and used the Seaside Confetti Cuts to but it out. I stamped the sentiment in Midnight ink and added some Gold glitter dots, light pink sequins and a wood veneer heart. I tied on a bit of gold twine.

Check out what the team has created with these colors, and then add yours!  We cannot wait to see what you create!

Color Throwdown 444-Hello Beautiful

Hi, everyone!  Amy is our hostess this week with a brand new set of colors for the challenge. Remember, we're using generic colors, so as long as you use the color values shown: green, grey and white, you're in good company! As always, feel free to incorporate any other neutrals you need in your design, as well.

If you upload to a public gallery, please use the key words CTD444, and please use #ctd444 and #colorthrowdown on social media sites.

I just adore my die cuts, almost no stamping on this card today. I started with the gorgeous Drop Cover Panel Confetti Cut in Cloud White. I then added a stitched border in Stone card stock with the All Framed Up Cover Panel. I then created the sentiment with a combination of the stamp from One Day at a Time and the Hello & Thanks Label Confetti Cut. I cut the hello from Avocado card stock

I stamped the masked greeting in Stormy ink onto some Stormy card stock and the added a strip of dots with the Edge Essentials Confetti Cuts. I hadn't used my Leafy Confetti Cut in a while and it felt great to pop out some leaves to accent the greeting. The Butterfly Dreams butterfly was left over on my desk from a previous project and I popped it up over the leaves. A few sequins finished off my card. I am totally crushing on this color combo! I think you all will, too!

ColorThrowdown 443-enjoy your day

Hey, y'all! Broni is taking her turn to host the Color Throwdown! Love the colors she picked this week.

It’s finally feeling like summer so let's celebrate with some bright, fun colors: Turquoise, Lime Green, Yellow and White.

Remember these are generic colors and you can add other neutrals if you wish.  If you upload to a social site, please use keywords like: #ctd, #CTD443, and #colorthrowdown.  And please, no digital cards.  But you can use digital images printed and incorporated into cards.  Also, please be sure to use a specific blog post link when you link up below, and not a generic link to your blog.  (All of the challenge rules are in the right column.)

I pulled together some of old and new Reverse Confetti for today's card. That gator from Later Gator is one of my all time faves and it was a great way to pull in the green from the challenge. I added him to the Sunburst Tag Layer cut from Bumblebee card stock. I love that bright yellow! I stamped the Simply Sentiments in Midnight ink to the center of the tag.

The fun stripes in the background are from the new Vertical Stripes Cover Panel. When used on a landscape card the stripes become horizontal. Yep, super cool. I tied on a pretty striped twine bow.

Now check out what the design team members have posted below for your inspiration.  We can’t wait to see what you create!

Reverse Confetti May SFYTT

Hello Fetti Friends! I have a card for you today with the current SFYTT. There is still time to play along, so come check it out.

I used all new release goodies on my card. This balloon is one of my favorites. It's from Take Flight. I stamped it and then colored it with my copics. I stamped the clouds in Baby Blue ink and then used the Take Flight Confetti Cuts to cut out each of the stamped images.

I added them to a Mist card stock panel and added the fun Pattern Play designer paper along the bottom. A little bit of sparkle makes everything better so I added  a strip of glitter paper.

The sentiment was stamped in Midnight ink and it's from the gorgeous new sentiment set, One Day at a Time. Remember, proceeds from this stamp set will go to The Pink Fund.

We can’t wait to see what you create with this sketch…

Here are the challenge details…
