Color Throwdown 436-Mother's Day Cake

Hello CTD friends! It's Lisa Henke here with this week's challenge colors. I am just drooling over these pretty Spring dessert cups. I hope you'll dig in and play along with us. The colors this week are Light yellow, blue, and green. We are using generic colors, so grab what you have that fits the challenge and have fun creating. As always, feel free to incorporate any other neutrals you need in your design as well!

If you upload to a public gallery please use the key words CTD436, and please use #ctd436 and #colorthrowdown on social media sites.  Also, when linking up your card using the linky tool at the bottom of the post, please link to your specific post, not a generic link to your blog.  All of the "rules" are in the right sidebar, so please check them if you are in doubt.  One last detail to remember, no digital designs.  Only digital images that are printed off and colored will be allowed.  Totally digital designs will be removed from the link up.

I saw those dessert cups and right away thought about this pretty cake set from Reverse Confetti. It's called Candles 'n Confetti. All the bits are separate, so you can customize your cake to fit any occasion. I then used the matching Candles 'n Confetti Confetti Cuts

In the background I used Cloud White card stock and the Large Eyelet Cover Panel. This is one of my faves. The sentiment was created with the Happy Pretty Panel and Whole Lotta Happy stamp set. Here is a close up.

Spring Coffee Lovers Blog Hop & Lil' Inker Designs

Hello my crafty friends. Happy Friday and yay! for Spring temps FINALLY here in Ohio. I am so excited to be here today with some Lil' Inker Designs and the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop. It's always a great time, filled with prizes and soooo much inspiration.

Come join the fun. You can read all the details on the Coffee Lovers Blog, HERE.  You'll also want to stop by Laura's blog, the beautifully talented owner of LID.....pssst.....she might just have a sneak peek for you all from our next release.
The theme this go-round is Spring and coffee of course. I used the stunning floral stamp, Corner Adorner.  I stamped it with some Versamark ink and then hit it with some white embossing powder. I then got busy coloring with my Zig Clean Color Brush markers. I used lots of pretty Spring colors.

I white embossed the sentiment from the same set, Corner Adorner,  onto a black card stock strip so it would really pop against the pastel colors in the background. I then die cut the awesome coffee cup from the Coffee Cozy Die Set. It's awesome, just sayin'......makes the sweetest little cup of joe!

I hope you'll all create something over the next few days and join in the fun.
LID is giving away a $35 LID gift certificate
Also, one winner will receive a Coffee Loving Papercrafters Tee courtesy of Lil' Inker.
Check out the details at the Coffee Lovers Blog

Thanks for stopping by today! have a great weekend.

Color Throwdown 435-Birthday Circles

Hi everyone!  Happy Wednesday!

We are lucky to have my friend Jodi here as this week"s hostess and with a brand new color combination!  Remember, we are using generic colors, so as long as you are close, you are good!  This week's colors are orange, turquoise and yellow!  I sure hope you love this combination as much as I do!  As always, feel free to incorporate any other neutrals you need in your design as well!

If you upload to a public gallery please use the key words CTD435, and please use #ctd435 and #colorthrowdown on social media sites.

Not a surprise, I used Reverse Confetti stamps and Confetti Cuts for my card this week! I had some fun with the Circle Wishes stamps and Circle Wishes Confetti Cuts. I loved using the circles to cut out some windows. I also used the Detailed Circles Confetti Cuts to add the large circle window and stitching detail. Love that!

I also finally got to really play with the Elemental Stripes stamp set that released this month. It is so fun. I love how you can customize just about any panel. I used 4 of the stamps from the set to create the great graphic design for my card front. The Iced Aqua, RC Aqua, and Tangerine were perfect for this week's challenge colors. I added some Lemon Drop ink (MFT) to complete the color combo.

Reverse Confetti-March SFYTT

Hello Fetti Friends! I have a card for you today with the current SFYTT. There is still time to play along, so come check it out. I flipped the sketch and used the new Tall Triangles Confetti Cuts for an easy graphic "hello" card. I cut them with the new neutral card stock colors, Sand, Lead, and Stormy. In the back ground I stenciled on some RC Aqua ink with the Pointed Out Stencil

For the sentiment I used the Circle Wishes Confetti Cuts  to cut out the circle with the pretty feather print from the Free Spirit 6x6 paper pack. I added the "hello" word die from Fancy Words Confetti Cuts. It needed just a little something else, so I added a touch of shimmer with a Wink Of Stella Glitter pen.

We can’t wait to see what you create with this sketch…

Here are the challege details…
There will be a new sketch posted on the Reverse Confetti blog on the 1st of each month.

Curtain Call-Fluff

It's time for a new Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge!

Excited to be back with my second card for today. This time I'm hanging with the Curtain Call Crew and right away my stampy brain went to this cozy stamp set from Taylored Expressions, Sit & Chat. I stamped it and then colored with Copics. I used the matching Sit  Chat dies to cut it out. I paper pieced the little cushion with the Tropical Teal polka dotted paper. I added some pretty texture to the background with the Ikat Embossing folder.

You should come play along.  The LEAD will be invited as a Guest Designer in a future
Make sure you visit each of the designers' blogs for more inspiration!

Color Throwdown 434-Lucky Me

Happy Wednesday!  Amy is here with a brand new set of colors for this week's challenge. Remember, we're using generic colors, so as long as you use the color values shown: green, black and gold (perfect for St. Patrick's Day this week), you're in good company! As always, feel free to incorporate any other neutrals you need in your design, as well.

If you upload to a public gallery, please use the key words CTD433, and please use #ctd433 and #colorthrowdown on social media sites. Also, when linking up your card using the linky tool at the bottom of the post, please link to your specific post, not a generic link to your blog--all of the "rules" are in the right sidebar, please check them out if you're in doubt.

For more inspiration, check out the other design team members' creations below, and get inky! We can't wait to see what you come up with this week.

I started this card with the new Striped Frame Cover Panel Confetti Cut. I used cut it with the new Midnight card stock. Yay! for all the new neutrals. I used the same Midnight ink to stamp the sentiment from A Friend Like You. I added some pretty green leaves from Blooms 'n Buds along the edges of the frame in Lime Green and Avocado inks. It needed a little touch of bling, so I added in a strip of glittery gold card stock.
