Sweet Sunday Sketch 247 {comfort and joy}

Welcome to another great sketch by Karen for the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge. I pulled out my Reverse Confetti stamps and dies to make this week's sample.

The sentiment is from Seasonal Sentiments and I used a two tone inking technique (starting with the lighter ink and then rocking the bottom half of the stamp with the darker blue second). I cut the Let It Snow snowflake from vellum and gave it a good coating of rock candy distress glitter.

Here this week's sketch. I flipped it and think it looks great!

Please stop by and see what the rest of the Sweet Sunday Stampers have created for you this week:

Reverse Confetti Nov. SFYTT

There is still a little bit of  time left to play along with this month's SFYTT challenge by Reverse Confetti.

 I used one of my favorite sentiments from last years holiday stamps, Tinsel 'n Trim. The red and white combo make for a festive card.

The Pretty Panels-Mini circle garland was a great starting point for my card. I accented the corner with a glitter Let It Snow snowflake.

Following the sketch, I added two grout gray strips and stamped them with So Stripey and Whole Lotta  Dots. I love the subtle, tone on tone look.

Here is the sketch.

 Enjoy the day!

TCP November Release is Here and TCPTues!

The wait is over....It's time for the November Release by The Cat's Pajamas. I appreciate all the kind words you have all left over the past week. Thanks a bunch! Now it's time to shop!

I've got two cards to share today for the Blog Hop.  My first one is a bit soft and pretty with a surprise inside! I used one of the beautiful new Double Snowflakes and layered on a felt Heart Trio. I stamped a sentiment from Melt My Ice on the bottom right.

This one is hard to show the actual movement on the inside, but my skating sheep ACTUALLY move thanks to the cool new Pop Up Pivot.

Here is a closer look at the cutie couple. I colored them up with Copic and then cut them out.  I also used another sentiment from the Melt My Ice stamp set.

It's Tuesday and that means it's time for the next TCPTues challenge. It's a color challenge this go round and we hope you'll join us. Check out all the challenge details on Alma's Blog.

I loooove this classic color combo and it was a great way to show off the awesome new Home for all Seasons stamp set. I used the matching cut up die, Village.

I used the Holiday Toppers to create a snowy hill for my house and then I found a sweet little snowflake left over from the Snowflake Lacey Paper cut up, so I added that to the top with a scattering of sequins.

That's it from me. I will send you on your way. The talented Lyn Wallan-Smith (Swanky Stamper) is up next.

There is an AWESOME SALE GOING ON....GO SHOP!!!

Here is another look at the new products I used on today's cards.

Have a great day!!!

TCP Final Day of Sneaky Peeks

One more day.....the Cat's Pajamas release is TOMORROW!!! We have one more set to show off, it's called Reindeer Kisses. It's A-dorable!

I used the current Freshly Made Sketches no. 167 for my layout. I colored my reindeer on x-press it blending cs and then pieced him up onto the kraft layer. I used the Holiday, Celebration Topper cut up to accent my left side of the panel. It was the perfect embellishment. There are LOTS of great sentiments in this stamp set to choose from. This one is my favorite.

Be sure to join the fun over in the TCP Forum at Splitcoast for the In It To Win It prizes and chatter! The party starts there!

The Pajama Party details are here....don't miss it!

Here is a look at the set I used today.

Sweet Sunday Sketch no.246 {warm winter wishes}

**please scroll down for my TCP Sneak Peek and 25 Days of HOliday Tags post**

Good morning. It's a two post Sunday for me. I'm here with my Sweet Sunday Sketch for the week. I was itching to use the newest Reverse Confetti stamps and dies. I just Branch Out the Confetti cut

I created a snow-like background by stamping Whole Lotta Dots with Sweet Tooth Pigment ink on Sno Cone cardstock.  The sentiment is from Seasonal Sentiments. I love how this stamp set has holiday and winter sentiments so you can continue to use it after the holidays.

I layered up a Let it Snow snow flake on top of the trees and added a sweet little red twine bow.  I used Lawn Fawn papers for my trees and the strip. They are soooo cute and I love the colors.

Here is the sketch.
