MFT Teasers....day 3 {stay AWHILE}

OHMYGOSH......so sorry for my lack of proof reading. How embarassing! My title NOW reflects what I WANTED it to say. 
Welcome back today. it's more fun withe the MFT February Teasers!!! I've got a couple of cards to share with you today. Before we jump in here are the details about the upcoming release:

Today we get a look at the You Make My Day; Western Sentiments; Inspired by the Wild Wild West.  Let's jump right in. Last month's Triple Scoop will move into general inventory for purchase. If you didn't snatch it up last month, you'll want to grab it now. As all MFT sentiment sets, it's full of some great words. 
I hosted a Thirty-one party last week and my consultant was someone I had never met in person. She did a great job and was the sweetest. I made this card with her in mind. I'm going to pop it in the mail to tell her Thanks for a great party. 

I used Karen's Sweet Sunday sketch 167 from the other week. The main image panel was a circle in the sketch, but I decided to use the fabulous new HEXAGON STAX DIE-NAMICS.  Hexagons are very trendy right now and I am excited about having them in soooo many sizes. I cut one in Kraft and another, larger one in Night Shift Blue. 

I then stamped the sentiment in MFT Kraft ink and added a fun Chevron Background, from SPRING BACKGROUNDS,  stamped in the new GRAPE JELLY INK. 

 Isn't it soooooo pretty on the kraft? 

I added LOTS more Die-namics to pretty thie one up. I cut one of the new LARGE LEAF FILLED FLOURISHES in Natural cs and snipped off one of the pieces to add it to the top of the sentiment panel. See those leaves? They are embossed and sooo cool. I think this is my new favorite flourish from MFT!!

 I also tucked in a few pretty MFT Buttons and two new flowers from the EASTER ELEMENTS DIE-NAMICS. 

In the background, you can see I added a layered FISHTAIL FLAGS STAX. I distressed all the edges and sponged on some Vintage Photo distress ink. 

Next up is this month's TRIPLE SCOOP SET-WESTERN SENTIMENTS. You can read all about the Triple Scoop Program  HERE.  Basically if you spend enough ($60 qualifying order) you can earn this one for FREE. 

It's full of great, all occassion sentiments with a western flair to them. The font is so fun. I stamped this one in the new SOUR APPLE INK.

  yeeehaw!!!! this is one of my favorite colors of green, so I am a happy girl!!!

I used more new Die-namics to show off this sentiment. The sketch is from The Deconstructed Sketch (see when I work ahead on my DT assignments, then the layouts I use are a bit behind. I'm ok with that.)

Check out that cool fence. It's called the BARBED WIRE FENCE.  I just think it is sooo neat. Love the embossed wood grain in the fence posts and the double wire pieces. This is a three piece Die-namics and it is just a great accent to these western words. 

My Rectangle Stax 1 sentiment panel, needed just a little something else.  So I pulled out my Western Charms Die-namics and tied the boot onto the rectangle with some hemp Twine with a custom made button from the new BUTTON BORDER DIE-NAMICS. 

 More Fishtail Flag Stax and Layers Stax on this one too. Other fun accents are the Little Open Scallop border and a sweet Photo Corner. 

And just in case you didn't see enough cuteness in my cards today. I couldn't resist sharing this picture of my fur baby. Bosco totally photo bombed my photo session the other day. Yep. He wanted some love while I was working and plopped himself down right in the middle of my set up.  Hard to get mad at that face!

MFTWSC109-Thank-you

It's a two post Wednesday! Scroll down to see my Teaser Day post....it's full of great new product. Right here I have this week's WSC Challenge. It's our 109th sketch and I created a special Thank-you card. 

 I loved that I could pick out a few Die-namics and one stamp (from ON THE LINE) and create this pretty card. The papers are by Crate Paper-On Trend. It looked great with MFT card stocks in: Cotton Candy, Whip Cream and Black Licorice. 

The sentiment was stamped on the FISHTAIL FLAGS STAX LAYERS DIE-NAMICS. It stamped beautifully with the  RAZZLE BERRY PREMIUM DYE INK.  I added a row of tiny flowers with the FLOWER BORDER. 

To further accent the card and add another touch of pretty....a couple layers of the LAYERED ROSE DIE-NAMICS, topped with a RAZZLE BERRY BUTTON and a splash of green with the ROYAL LEAVES, do the trick.
