Believe in Miracles

This one is for my friend Maria! She is waiting results from her latest scans..... waiting, praying, believing.....that her cancer will be GONE! It's been a long, hard summer for her with intense treatments.
This card is for her, letting her know I believe in miracles and I am praying for positive news.

I used the latest and greatest,  Jenn's Deconstructing sketch. Another amazing one to work with! You can find that one HERE.

I used some pretty Studio Calico papers along with my go-to neutrals, MFT Kraft, whip cream and this time a touch of Soft Suede (SU!).  A few MFT Die-namics-RECTANGLE STAX 2 and TRADITIONAL TAG STAX and this card came together quickly.

The sentiment is from the cutest girlie girl set, CS about Audrey Hepburn. The font included in this set just makes me happy. I stamped it in  stone Amuse ink (love the grey on the kraft!).

I added a beautiful layered up butterfly as my circle element from the sketch. I cut two layers of each size and added foam dimensional between each layer. These were cut from the BUTTERFLIES DIE-NAMICS. Some hemp twine added texture and a couple of antenna!

The tag was finished off with cotton twill ribbon and a SNO CONE button!

Have a great weekend! We are supposed to get the effects of Hurricane Issac up here and be pounded with rain this weekend. Not good for a Soccer Tournament. Hoping to stay dry.

WSC87-Boys Rock!

If you are wondering about the MFT September Teaser time posts....don't fret....they are coming. This release has been pushed back a bit.  You can read all about it on FB. It will be a GREAT release, I promise you!!!

How about a sweet little baby card to occupy this gorgeous Wednesday. It's WSC time and we have a new sketch, and  I LOVE it!

Our new neighbors just had a baby boy and I can't wait to deliver this card to them (and get some baby snuggle time).
I am still using the pretty blue papers from the Blue Bell pack from MME-Sweetest Things. It looks soooo pretty with Kraft cs, dontcha think?

I used the fun and sweet BABY ONESIE stamp set and matching Die-namics to make my center, focal panel. I stamped the record image and sentiment with some coordinating Amuse inks.

Along the left edge, I thought the pretty SOLID BRACKET BORDER  was a great accent for a baby card. Since it is a boy card, it gives it a bit more of an "edge" as opposed to a soft, frilly scallop. :)

The square dark blue polka dotted panel, was easy to add in because I cut it with my SQUARE STAX 2 DIE-NAMICS. The basic shapes of the Stax die-namics make for easy and quick layering.

I wrapped the card front with the beautiful new Kraft Grosgrain ribbon and my bow, takes the place of the flower element from the sketch. Love that ribbon ♥♥

I added in the "congratulations" from the PI sentiment set, All Occasion Sentiments. Yep, there is sentiment for every occasion, with this set. I stamped it onto one of the MIN TAB FOURSOME Die-namics.

I took a few extra minutes to decorate the inside of my card. I made an embellie cluster with the help of a few Die-namics-Star Stax, Button Quartet, and the heart from Homespun Birdhouse (yes, I ran it through my crimper again....love the look and extra texture).

I stamped another sentiment from the BABY ONSIE  set and then accented it all with some machine stitching.

Check out this week's sketch and come play along. There is always an MFT Voucher up for grabs. You can't win if you don't play!

Kim's Blog has all the details AND  the DT inspiration for this week's sketch.

Here are the Die-namics I used for today's card.

Wishing you a Beautiful day {Mojo Monday}

I have been crafting, I promise....I just haven't been able to snag computer time to edit and blog all my photos. I hate when my blog goes untouched for a few days. I also know it's okay, and you'll all still be here when I return :)
I used yesterday's Mojo Monday sketch and went round! Love circle cards ♥♥♥ Easy peasy with the CIRCLE STAX Die-namics.  I used the Circle STax 2 here, today.

I also pulled out one of my all time FAVE MFT stamp sets, FRAMED GREETINGS
The shape of that Die-namics is so pretty and the sentiments are just as beautiful.

The sketch was a perfect fit for the FISHTAIL FLAG STAX. I used three off the different sizes. A quick little LAYERED ROSE complete with a Kraft Button and a pretty navy burlap twine bow (forgot I had this color, from Ribbon Carousal!).

Oh, yeah....the card stock is MFT Whip Cream and Kraft...staples in my craft supplies! Designer papers are My Mind's Eye, new Blue Bell from the Sweetest THing Line.

Ahhh....this makes me happy! I think I need to send it off to someone special!
Thanks for stopping by.

We just got a puppy too and life just got busier! LOL
I am very thankful for my family. My work life has been absolutely crazy since the company I work for was bought out by a HUGE company so we've been working through new staff, protocols, procedures, etc. I'm a nurse and it's very stressful!
Congrats, Amy Kolling!
I will be in contact this morning to get your snail mail address!

Puppy Love

In less than 5 hours we have our new, sweet puppy home with us. We are all sooo excited (and I have to admit I am feeling a bit nervous). It has been a whirl wind of a week....you can read all about my CRAZY, BUSY, BLESSED life, HERE
That also means you still have time to enter my blog candy. I will be picking a lucky winner sometime tomorrow and post it by Sunday. Stay Tuned and good luck.

With my crazy week and not being able to get into my house for 3 days, I was forced to take a stamp break. I was dying to get crafty today, so I did. I used Jen's Deconstructing Sketch to make this card. Of course it features a puppy....we have dogs on the brain around here. Plus this is going to our Breeder.

It's the sweet PI-Puppy Girl.  I used MFT Kraft and Whip Cream cardstocks, along with some Basic Grey-PB & J.  To follow the sketch I used CIRCLE STAX 1 & 2 and the beautiful FRAMED GREETINGS DIE-NAMICS

The ebellie cluster was created by layering the largest HEARTS A PLENTY, PET CHARMS, and the stamped sentiment on a FISHTAIL FLAGS STAX.

Take a closer look at my heart....I made my own corrugated card board with the Kraft cs and my  Crimper.  I love the look! It's a quick way to add texture without having to dig out some real cardboard.

Oh, yeah....look at the twine I used too. It's NEW to the boutique. I have been  calling it cream, but actually it is an in-between cream and natural color......it can really go both ways and I love it! I think you will too!

Thanks for stopping by!
