MFT Teasers Day 4

It's another great day for a teaser post and today's sets are soooo fantastic! You're going to FLIP! I love them both: Baby Onesie; Airplane Greetings.  

The Baby Onesie I'll be showing on Pep Rally day, so for today I am sharing the very cool Airplane Greetings set! WOW! The customizable airplane Die-namcis is sooo fun to play with.  

My hubby and I are celebrating our 12th Anniversary, so I made a sweet love card.  This card is HUGE....I made it 6x6 and the plane still hangs off a bit from the edges. That's ok....a card this big will be hand delivered, and honestly....hubby doesn't card that it's not in an envelope. :)

I love how the new Jumbo Cloud Stax are a GREAT fit with this Die-namics.  I used the two largest clouds and cut them out in two different colored felt-puff white and whisper grey.  I tucked in a sweet little heart from Homespun Birdhouse. It was a perfect size with those clouds. 

Here's a close up of the plane. Check out the stamped detail I added.  It's all part of the stamp set. 

Here is the sweet little banner. I gave it a little ripple with my fingers to make it look like it's flapping in the breeze. 

I used the new SOLID SKYLINE DIE-NAMICS along the bottom to complete my scene. It was a great resting place for a few more small hearts from Notched Tag Die-namics to balance the red on the card. . 

I wanted to add another "I love you", and went to the inside to make it pretty. I used the new ROUNDED BANNER STAX . I loved how the scalloped  border from Jumbo Banner Day STax fit the Rounded Banner. 

I layered up a few of the smaller circles from Circle Stax 1 & 2 . I embellished it with a small JUMBO CLOUDS STAX  and another small heart from Notched Tag Die-namics. A button

Day 3...MFT Teasers

I used some girl papers by Echo Park-This & That-graceful and this month's ASFYTT. 

I masked off the sentiment and stamped it to fit into my Circle Stax 1 & 2.  Love the way I can give my circles a great border with the close fit of the matching circles.


 I cut more of the beautiful flowers from the new PLENTIFUL PETALS DIE-NAMICS. You can see all three sizes of petals on the top flower. Here is a close up of it. I off set the layers and added some foam dimensionals between each layer. I used the mid sized centers to do up both of my flowers. 

The bottom flower was two of the smallest petals, layered up. Both floral beauties were finished off with a few Royal Leaves tucked behind them. I love there is a perfect sized leaf to fit any flower.

Today's stamp sets are: Inspired by the Sea; You Lift Me Up Flopsey



Let's jump right in with my Inspired by the Sea card. Ooooo, you're going to love this one. More beautiful, detailed images, true to the Inspired by Line of stamps.  They are fun to color or ink  up in one tone, like I did. 

I actually stamped the beautiful ship twice, once on  the gorgeous Natural Cs (yep, just added this new MFT color card stock to my stash and I love it....you'll bee seeing lots of it) and cut it out with the new DESIGNER LABLE STAX 3 DIE-NAMICS.  Then I stamped it again on the same cardstock, but this time cut it out with a Circle Stax 2 Die-namics. I popped the circle layer up with some foam dimensionals. I love the subtle detail this gives the card, kind of like the "spot- light techinque", but different. 

Then I accented the card with a pretty red button, some natural burlap twine and a sweet anchor from the new SEA CHARMS DIE-NAMICS.  These little Die-namics sets always make the cutest accent to any  card. The whole thing is wrapped up with a pretty Hot Fudge Grosgrain ribbon. 

I couldn't find a good spot for my sentiment, so I decided to add it to the inside. Again, I used the same papers, and colors, but this time I layered my Circle Stax 2 Die-namics, behind the DESIGNER LABELS 3 STAX.  I also decided to use the steering wheel (is there a more sea worthy term for this? Any sailors out there, know?) in stead of the anchor. 

Next up is my oh-so cute Flopsey card. Ack! I am super excited to show this one off. We all konw and love Flopsey, and this month his is carrying a sweet bouquet of balloons. He's called, YOU LIFT ME UP. What I am super giddy about are those giant clouds! How cool are they? They are a new set of Stax Die-namics, called none other than, JUMBO CLOUDS. 

 I used the largest one as my card base.  I am a sucker for shaped cards.  I ran my top layer through my Vagabond with a Polka Dotted Impression plate and than game a humble attempt to stitch around the out side for that extra detail. 

Then I cut two smaller ones from puff white felt and attached those with some foam dimensionals. Flopsey was stamped on X-press Blending cs, colored with copics and then I pieced up his fun balloons.  I stamped the sentiment onto Grapesicle card stock, and cut it out with to cool new SENTIMENT STRIPS DIE-NAMICS.  You can never have too many options to house your sentiments. 

That cute striped button was tied up with Lilac Twine from the MFT Boutique.

Double post Wednesday....gotta love that! Be sure to scroll down to see my teaser post. 


My parents came into town last week, so I had one more DAD card to create and hand out. Played around with the sketch a little bit, squeezing the panels  to accomodate the Rectangle Stax 1 & 2 Die-namics I used and moving Fishtail banner from First Place Award Ribbon around a bit. It's okay to do....use the sketch at as  inspiration.
I love this classic car image from the newly released Inspired by Travel stamp set. I also used the word DAD from Masculine Graphic Tee to spell out dad (I used Amuse inks again.  I purchased about 20 colors from Jess Hansen.  They really work well with my MFT stamps).  I then stamped the second sentiment onto the fishtail banner piece, it's from CS about Fathers. (looks like this one is currently out of stock....click the "notify me" button so you know when it is available. ♥ this feature!). 

I added a Postage Border to the bottom in soft suede cs.  To accent my card and finish it off, I hand stitched a few cross hatches and topped it off off with a Star Stax Die-namics, a large, vintage brad from Buttons Galore & More and a double twiney bow.
