SHAKE IT UP....MFT TEASER TIME

Welcome, welcome!!! I'm happy to announce that today marks the kick off the My Favorite Things APRIL Teaser posts. Months are just flyin' by aren't they???!!!  So fun, though, when you have something as fabulous as the MFT Release to look forward to each month. 


Here are the details about the upcoming release on April 3rd at 10 PM EST:

Today is our WTG preview. She's ready for happy hour, this month with the newest set, LET'S GRAB DRINKS. 
I pulled some fun patterns of paper from the new Lily Bee papers (Handmade) and LOTS of the new soon-to-be-released Die-Namics! I'm telling you now....shouting it, actually...I LOVE THE NEW FISHTAIL FLAG STAX DIE-NAMICS!!!! I was jumping up and down when these babies arrived at my doorstep. I cut out two different sizes and used them side by side. 

The possibilities are endless, for layering these STAX Die-namics.  Even though  the new CHEVRON STRIPES aren't part of the Stax family of dies, they, too offer endless usage opportunities.   I used them on this card, too.  It matched the pattern on the paper. 

Check out my margarita glass.  Yep, that's a new Die-namics set, too. You'll see more about that one later this week, but it's called, LET'S TOAST.  I salted the top of both my glasses with some chucky Glitzy Glitter. 

The little tag below is also part of the new LET'S TOAST Die-namics. It's a perfect size circle and it has it's own little hole cut out, so it's easy peasy to tie one on (no pun intended! lol. Well, maybe.....*wink*wink*).  I used some yummy twine.

And because I couldn't get enough of these papers, the cute margarita glass, AND the fun sentiments (there are LOTS of them in the set)....I did up the inside to match.  Instead of the CHEVRON STRIPES DIE-NAMICS, I added a small strip of the PINKING BORDER DIE-NAMICS.   I also stamped the WTG again, but this time I omitted the border around her.  Gives another fun element to my card. 

Just so you know, and if you needed it for reference, I used lots of MFT cardstock on this one. Card base is one of my go-to's-sweet tooth.  You'll also see I used Sno-cone, black licorice, and Gum drop Green. You can find the full MFT cs collection, right HERE! Oh, and yes, the ribbon is MFT, also....would you have thought any differently? ♥ this stuff!
