MFT Teasers....Day 3

Are we having fun yet??? I know I am! Soooo excited for this release. I'm really excited about the new alphabet die-namic set!  How about you? What's getting you excited so far??
There is ALOT more to see.....so let's get started!

I've got a card with each today. A vintage holiday card (I think that's my theme this year....seem to have more vintage on hand than usual.....kind of like this trend!). I used some of the die-namics that were released last month.

 I love the new oval doily series. I used the  oval dainty doily here along with the matching  dainty lace border. The sweet little holly berries were create using the Christmas Ornaments die-namics and some MFT felt.  You can see in the my next card I used  the new oval open scallop (I love the open scallop....it's my fave!).  You can see I matched up the little open scallop border on the front, too.

 I also  used some stamps from the Own Your Own Story stamp set. The flourish is soooo pretty! On the outside I used the new, soon-to-be-released, mini tab foursome and then I used the matching, larger size, Bracket Tab die-namic on the inside.

I love using bits and parts of sentiments, or moving them around so you make them fit onto a space, or die-namic you want to use.  I did this on the inside of my card, but only using two words from a quote.

I use a masking technique with post-its to make this happen. It's easy and creates lots more choices to your stamps. Here's how I do it.

 Then ink. Using smaller ink cubes, or dew drops, make the work a little faster and easier.

 Here's what it looks like after I ink the work I want.  Just remember to remove the paper mask before you stamp. The ink on the paper, could still be wet and mess up your final product.
