H{ippity} HOp!

I've scheduled this post since we were gone all weekend and before I found out the super exciting news!!!! Thanks to you all for the wonderfully warm welcome and all the fabulous words of congrats. I tell ya, I must have been feeling the vibe, cuz our challenge this week is to create a gift card. Now, I did this one for last week's challenge, but since all this excitment was last minute and I haven't been home to make something new, I'm using it for BOTH challenges! I do have two more gift cards to make, so I'll get those done and share them later today or tomorrow!

But I'm happy to say I've got some ippity goodies to share with you and maybe just in time for a last minute holiday gift giving idea. The ippity challenge this past week was to create some background paper using non-background stamps. I used the oh-so cool set, Life's Little Moments (it's not just for scrapbooking!!!!) and one of PTI's, My Timeless Templates (Cash or Charge) to make this fun gift card holder for my dear, neighbor. It was her birthday last week and I actually remembered it.

So for the little gift card holder, I stamped the Happy Birthday block repeatedly in brown ink and then filled in the spaces with a lighter, melon colored ink and the heart stamp. I think it turned out super cute and she loved it! She was so excited about the shape of the card, she didn't realize there was actually a gift card inside, lol!
