Paper Piecing the Little Birdies

This is going to be a quick post, since I still have a ton to do to get ready for our garage sale. Last night I got to go out with some girlfriends to celebrate one of their Birthday's. It was so nice to get out and just catch up. Everyone is so busy all the time, we are finding it harder and harder to get together. There were four of us that went out and I made this card for the three of us (notice how there are three little birdies) to sign and give to Kim. I really like this set and just can't help myself to paper piece those birdies. I used the Berry Bliss paper on all the birds and changed the sentiment to say "a little birdie told US" instead of "ME". I thought it was a cute touch, subtle yet appropriate. Oh, and just a little tip I learned while making this card when you are paper piecing, you don't need to mask the images before stamping. The paper you use will give you the same effect masking does. So save yourself an extra step and don't' worry about masking when paper piece like I did with the three little birdies.
