Can't show favoritism!

I guess it is only fair that I share a page with my other two boys. This is one I did a while back, some of you have probably seen it in my SCS gallery. It was a simple page that went together quickly. You'll see, I'm all about speed scrapping. I love the creative process, but I don't fuss over the little things. My time is limited and I have lots of pictures to turn into pages.

I love SU's textured cs (yes, I love all things from Stampin' Up!, well all the products I order anyway). I just recently discovered Going Grey and love how it looks with Basic Grey (one of my favoirte go-to neutrals since it came out in July). I didn't use the darker Basic Grey on this page, but I did pair Going Grey with some of the Western Sky designer paper.

Doing this page reminded my just why I love to scrap. I got to tell the story of how big brother, Joshua, was helping Ryan learn to write his name. It was one of those melt-your-heart moments. These photos weren't staged. I was lucky enough to have to camera close by when they decided to practice writing all on their own.

CS:Going grey textured, Western Sky ds paper

Ink:Basic Grey and Ruby Red

Stamps: Jumbo outline alpha, ABC alpha lower

Acces: My Way Punch, Basic Black journaler

  1. Adorable, us moms live for those moments don't we?! Sweet! The way you described your SB process had me cracking up because I do exactly what you said you don't do "Fuss over the little things". Hmmmm, might be why you are only 8 months behind and I am 4 years behind! LOL
