Okay...so let's go! This first set is called Lily of the Valley and it's simple and beautiful and a great addition to any stamp collection. This image in the vase is my favorite. There are also a great variety of sentiments. This one was perfect for me, since I have a friend that needs some cheering up.
I started this with a beautiful bright and cheery color wash in Mustard Seed distress ink. I then stamped the image and colored it up with Copics. I used the Lilly of the Valley Confetti Cuts to cut it out and added it to my card base with some foam dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment in Midnight ink on a strip of Mist card stock.
The next stamp set we are showcasing to day is called Orange Blossom. I am IN LOVE with it. I surprised myself because I seriously couldn't wait to color these beautiful citrus images up and THEN I had a total change in design as I wanted to do a set of note cards with the new Along The Dotted Lines Cover Panel. YOU know I am a sucker for anything with stitched lines....so this die was talking to me.
I went with a trio of cards in ALL the citrus colors...Lime Green, Bumblebee, and Tangerine card stock! I embossed in white with Versamark ink and set aside while i worked on the cardbase. I used Sand card stock and ran three pieces thru my die cut machine with the Along the Dotted Lines Cover Panel. I stamped a sentiment from Orange Blossoms in Midnight ink, starting with the same beginning and finishing the sentiment with a different phrase for a variety in my note cards. I have a close up of each color. I also added a strip of different pattern paper tp each note card. I love how simple these cards are, yet they have so much detail.
