Color Throwdown 496-Sea You Soon

Hello, hello! It's Lisa Henke here as your hostess this week. Ahhh, doesn't that outdoor space look so inviting? I love it, those bold black & white stripes just pop against the crisp aqua of the pool. Yep, I'm in full on summer mode! I hope you love the colors as much as I do. Come play along, this week's Color Throwdown colors are Black, White, & Aqua

If you upload to a public gallery, please use the key words CTD496, and please use #ctd496 and #colorthrowdown on social media sites. Also, when linking up your card using the linky tool at the bottom of the post, please link to your specific post, not a generic link to your blog. All of the "rules" are in the right sidebar, so check them out to be sure. Please note, no digital designs, only digital images that are printed off and colored, will be accepted. Totally digital designs will be removed from the link up.

I knew right away that the Big Stripes Cover Panel would be my background for my card. I just LOVE those bold stripes. I cut it from Premium Polar White card stock and layered it over some Midnight card stock. I tucked in an Iced Aqua piece of card stock and stamped the waves from Sealiously  in Lagoon ink. Actually, all my stamped pieces are from Sealiously

I stamped the sentiment in Midnight ink onto a strip of pattern paper from Pattern Play and then cut a few white clouds from the Sealiously Confetti Cuts. It's hard to see from the photos, but I colored the bottom portion of the clouds with BG000 Copic marker and then added some shimmer with a clear Wink of Stella pen.

Check out the beautiful creations from the team this week! They are sure to inspire you, they always inspire me!! Have fun creating, we cannot wait to see what you come up with using these colors!!

Thanks for stopping by today!
Hugs, Lisa
