Color Throwdown 421-Jingle

Welcome to a new Color Throwdown Challenge 421.  The colors from this week's inspiration photo are aqua, celery green, purple and black.  Keep in mind that the colors are generic and it's fine if you want to add in other neutrals!

Once you’ve finished your card or other paper crafting project using the colors, add a direct link to your creation using the linky tool at the bottom of the post.  And, don’t forget to use the keyword CTD421 if you upload your project to an online gallery. You can use the keywords #ctd421 and #colorthrowdown if you upload to any social media sites (yes, we're on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter!).  All of the challenge "rules" are in the right sidebar in case you have any questions.

Now that we have celebrated Thanksgiving, I am full on holiday mode! I have been dying to use this awesome word die again by Reverse Confetti. It's called Jingle All the Way. So I made it the focal point of my card. I cut it from Iced Aqua card stock and then used the Pop Up Circle scalloped circle to add a bit more interest to main panel, and then I popped up the whole panel.  In the corner (I know, I know.....there are no corners on circles)  I incorporated the other challenge colors with the beautiful Layered Snowflake Confetti Cut in Spring Moss, Grape Soda, and Black Licorice cardstock. I tucked in a some bits of Cloud White, too. A sprinkling of festive sequins and this one was done.

Reverse Confetti-November SFYTT

Hope you all had a fabulous holiday and that you are still enjoying the weekend. I hosted my family for Thanksgiving and we had a great day. I am back today with a card for the November SFYTT with the Reverse Confetti crew. There is still time to play along. Come check it out.

I used the fun and festive bear from Bearing Gifts. I stamped him on Cloud White Card stock and used my Zig Clear Color Brush markers. I cut it out with the matching Bearing Gifts Confetti Cut.  Circle Band Confetti Cut to create the diagonal panel with Mist card stock and then covered the circle up with the Dots Tag Layer to follow the sketch. I added in one of the Snowflake Trio Confetti Cuts and stamped the sentiment along the bottom with Navy ink. In the background I layered on a piece of the dotted chevron paper from Warm Hearts paper pack.

Here is the sketch. Be sure to stop on by the RC Blog for all the challenge details. I can't wait to see what you have created this month.

Thanks so much for stopping by! See you back, soon!

25 Days of Christmas Tags with Reverse Confetti

Welcome friends! Excited to be a part of Tracey McNeely's 25 Days of Christmas Tags event.

I am fortunate enough to get to post with two different teams. Today I am featuring a tag with the gang from Reverse Confetti. I love round tags, so I grabbed the Lacy Scallop Circles  cut with Mist card stock (oh, Mist....how I love thee!!!) and made it into a tag. I layered on a  Pop Up Circle stitched plaid paper layer from the gorgeous paper pad, Warm Heart 6x6 paper pack. I stamped a sentiment from Seasonal Sentiments in Royal Purple ink

I added a small flake from Snowflake Trio in Cloud White and topped a tiny heart from the Layered Snowflake Confetti Cut. I tied on a piece of Natural Twine

Here is a close up of the products I used today.

But wait.....before you go......Here is the RC Black Friday Sale!

Color Throwdown 420-Kindness

Hi everyone!  Wanda is our hostess with this week's Color Throwdown ChallengeCTD420!  The colors from this week's inspiration photo are light blue, sage green, gray and amber/yellow.  Keep in mind that the colors are generic and it's fine if you want to add in other neutrals!

Once you’ve finished your card or other paper crafting project using the colors, add a direct link to your creation using the linky tool at the bottom of the post.  And, don’t forget to use the keyword CTD420 if you upload your project to an online gallery. I went with the softer, more muted side of these colors and used lots of pretty Reverse Confetti products. I started with some Cloud White card stock and the gorgeous Large Eyelet Cover Panel. I popped it up with some foam dimensionals to add some dimension and shadows, which really help show off the beauty of the die.

I never want to cover up that gorgeous panel, so I kept the sentiment simple, by stamping a greeting from Whole Lotta Thanks onto some layered circles. I cut out the flowers with the Whole Lotta Thanks Confetti Cuts. I used both of the solid circle from Pop Up Circle with a layer of the large solid circle from Circles 'n Scallops
