Good Luck!

This new Santa set is too cute and too funny! It's called Moody Santa and you're going to  want it. I made a quick tag starting with the AnytimeTag Dies 2 and gave it a fun hill with Border Builder Dies and the Tribal Chic 6x6 papers

I stamped Moody Santa and used my zig clean color brush markers to watercolor him. I then used the Moody Santa die to cut him out. The sentiment was stamped at the top of the tag. I love having tags made and ready to go to be used on a gift or simply added to a card front when I am short on time.

I had so much fun creating this last card for this release. These dies make card making quick and easy. I started with the Silly Stitched dies and then added the Baubled Christmas Wreath die to the center. I love the little bits included that you can use to fill in some of the spaces. I cut those from some RC Aqua card stock.

I then decided to add some gold accents with sequins and some twine. Here is a closer look.

I topped the card off with the Merry Christmas Word die. I cut it three times with some Paver Red card stock and then glued the layers together to get some dimension and make it pop off of the background.

Here is another look at the new products I used today.

Laura is picking one lucky winner from the comments to win the ENTIRE LID release. you could win!!

Thanks so much for hanging with me.
I'll see you back here tomorrow.

More fabulous stamps and dies to show off today. First up are the Filled Christmas Tree Stamp set along with the Dual Stitched Christmas Trees Dies. These two work great together, or on their own. I stamped two of the tree images onto Cloud White card stock and then used the dies to cut them out. Do you notice how the trees are a little smaller? That's because I only inked up the top halves of the trees (there are smaller tree trunks, too). Love that you can get two sizes from one one stamp.

I sponged on some Broken China distress ink onto some water color paper and then splattered on some clean water to create some texture. After that was dry, I also splattered on some white ink to give the illusion of snow. I cut out that whole panel with the Silly Stitched Rectangle dies. I popped up my trees and then added the Merry Christmas Border Die across the bottom. A trio of clear sequins finish it off.

For my next card I used the Dual Stitched Christmas Tree dies again, but this time I created a shaker with it. I used the smaller tree to cut out the window on my tree. I filled it with some festive sequins.

I mounted it onto a Stitched Rounded Rectangle panel that I stamped one of the sentiments from All The Christmas You'll Ever Need 2 stamp set. Too Fun!

Prompted by the background I created I used the gorgeous Brush Script Christmas Word Dies. It is soooo amazing! I love the font. Here is a closer look.

That's all from me today. Here is another look at the new release products I used today.

Don't forget about to leave comments along the way. You Could win an LID Entire Release!

Color Throwdown 416-Hey There!

Hello Color Throwdown fans! I am so glad you are joining us this week. It's Lisa Henke as your hostess this challenge. I have a beautiful fall floral inspiration photo for you. I hope you love it. The colors are Cranberry, Dark Teal, Peach, and Kraft.  The colors are generic and it's fine if you want to add in other neutrals.

Once you’ve finished your card or other paper crafting project using the colors, add a direct link to your creation using the linky tool at the bottom of the post.  And, don’t forget to use the keyword CTD416 if you upload your project to an online gallery. You can use the keywords #ctd416 and #colorthrowdown if you upload to any social media sites (yes, we're on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter!).  All of the challenge "rules" are in the right sidebar in case you have any questions.

I can't wait to see what you all create with this week's colors. Have fun and happy creating!

Here is my card for this week's challenge. I used the adorable Merry Christmoose stamp set in a non holiday-ish card. I made the moose a she, by drawing in some lashes. I used the Merry Christmoose Confetti Cuts to cut out those fun polka dotted trees. The Very Merry 6x6 papers are gorgeous. Pick those up, if you haven't.  I water colored the moose with distress inks onto the Cloud White card stock. I added in a light peach hill with the Edgers Confetti Cuts and framed it all up with the All Framed Up Confetti Cuts. That cross hatch is my favorite of the bunch.

For more inspiration, check out the other design team members' creations below, and get inky! And don't forget to join us over on the CTD Blog. We can't wait to see what you create with these new colors.

I am kicking off today with two of my favorite stamps from this release. LOVE them, and so will you! This Tis' The Season stamp is a follow up to the oh-so-loved Oh, Deer Christmas stamp set from last year. So beautiful and fun to color. I used my copics to add color and make it festive.

I kept it simple to really show off the gorgeous image and stamped it onto a Stitched Mats-Rounded Rectangle Die. I then added one more layer in kraft and tied on some twine. I did add a bit of sparkle with some Martha Stewart Chunky Clear glitter to the berries.

This next set, you are going to fall in love with. I sure have! It's called Rustic Christmas. I used a few trees and the bear from the set, water colored the images and used the Rustic Christmas Dies to cut them out. In the background I white embossed some of the snowflakes from the Rustic Christmas stamp set and then gave a light blue water color wash to the background. I framed it all up with a white Stitched Mats Circle and mounted it to a Quilted Stitched Spirals die

Here is a close up of the adorable bear and the cool trees. I love that there are few different designs you can play with.

The final product I know you are going to flip over are the Brush Script Christmas Words dies. OH MY! they are stunning! I used "wish" here today cut from silver glitter paper. Awesome, right?!!

Here is a closer look at the new products I used today! I love them all.

Thanks so much for hanging with me.
I'll see you back here tomorrow.

Shopping is OPEN in the LID Shop! Go take a look at what is new.

Reverse Confetti-Happy Fall-idays Thanksgiving

Hello and welcome back to our second day of Happy Fall-idays with the Reverse Confetti crew! today we are sharing some Thanksgiving inspiration. Jen has all the details over on the RC Blog, so be sure to hop on over there so you don't miss any of it.

Today I decided to focus on some easy yet charming hostess gifts. It's always nice to show up with a little something for the person putting the dinner or party all together. It doesn't have to be anything big or expensive, but add a little handmade touch and you'll bring a smile to any one's face. I have two gift ideas to share today. A bottle of wine, or in my case champagne with a sweet little bottle tag and a spiced popcorn gifty. Two main products make these both come together quickly (and a few other faves, too) the Door Hanger Confetti Cut and the Treat Tube Topper Confetti Cut

Let's start with the bottle tag. I cut a piece of Cloud White card stock to 3.5 x 6 inches and used the Door Hanger Confetti Cut to create the hole at the top. I then rounded the corners. I used the Lotsa Dots Stencil to add a bit of detail to the base.

I then added a Thanks Tag cut with some pretty patterns from Fright Night 6x6 paper pad. I added the Thankful Pretty Panel and a duo of Tangerine Wheat to the corner. I tied on a kraft button and with some solid Natural Twine

Next up is my spiced popcorn Treat Tube. I love these little clear boxes. You can put anything in them and it is such a cute gift with the fun scalloped top. I cut mine from Iced Aqua card stock
Before I continue, I thought I would share a few links to popcorn recipes. Basically you pop some kernals (fresh, if you can, not microwave. it's healthier and plain in flavor) and add what ever seasoning you like. I used a Chipolte Spice blend and some White Cheddar powder for mine.

I did a quick search and found these links for you:

 or

So I used a Lacy Scallop Circle for my tag. Oh my,  round tags make my heart happy! I stamped a sentiment from With Love

I stamped a Tangerine Happy Harvest acorn and tied it on with some Natural Twine. I also tucked in a few Ice Aqua pieces of Wheat.

Here is a list of the Confetti Crew members with Thanksgiving Inspiration for you today.

Thanks for stopping by today. I always appreciate your kind words.
Have a great week!
I am not posting tomorrow, but there is a Christmas post going up from some of the crew members. I can't wait to see what they have to share.
