Reverse Confetti {Feb. Blog Hop}

Eight is Great! That's our motto. Yep.....it's December 8th, so that means it's time for some blog hopppin' with Reverse Confetti.
I hop you just arrived here from Laurie's Blog.  If not, then you'll want to get started over on the Reverse Confetti Blog

Today I have a trio of Valentine treat bags. I plan to fill them with these yummy cookies from a local bakery. My kiddos LOVE their sweets.  I added these cute chevron baggies to my stash this past week, so I knew they'd be perfect to tie on some handmade tags.

I put lots of my favorite Reverse Confetti Cut dies to work. I started by cutting three of the Sweet Treat Tents and in Fuse Green, Nightshift Blue, and Grout Grey card stock and then trimmed off the bottom tab and top tab (easy with the score lines already there. Follow the line and cut!).

I mostly used the sweet stamps from Sweet Thing. Love how many different options you can create just by mixing and matching the words.

Here's a closer look at the first one. I added some tone on tone hearts by stamping Whole Lotta Hearts along the bottom and top in Grout Grey ink. I used pink and blue for the sentiments. The teeny row of hearts is from Love Note Confetti cut die.

Here's the next one. I used Nightshift blue as my tag base. I added another tag (Tag Me) on top and stamped a different sentiment in Kraft, Fuse Green, and Pink Lemonade ink.

I layered up a couple of hearts from Love Note and topped them with a button from my stash. If you look closely along the bottom of my navy tag, you can see the darling xoxo from Crushin'. It was the perfect, something for the background.

My final tag is just as sweet. This time I layered on the fabulous Scallop frame from Love Note confetti cut. I cut it from some heart printed paper (all designer paper on this post is from the Flea Market 6x6 pack by Crate Paper. It's awesome. Get some).

I used some Kraft, and Pink lemonade inks for my words and even tucked in the fun tic tac toe image from the Crushin' set. I accent this one with the Arrow Die and the large heart from Love Note.

Here's a final group shot. All the dies, and patterns and twine and ribbons just make me happy.

That's all from me. Now make your way on to Val's Blog. I know she'll have something fabulous for you.
  • Don't forget to leave some love along the way. There is a chance to win a $15 gift certificate to SHOP at the Reverse Confetti store
