and the flowers are part of the What Matter's Most set.

I've got them both, it you want to order some {ippity}!!!! You can order all the new sets HERE!

Please note that any orders placed 2/25-3/3 will not be processed until March 4. I will be out of town and away from the computer. Thanks for your understanding.

Papertrey Ink Feb. Blog Hop

It's time for another day of Papertrey Ink fun and wonderful inspiration. On the 25th of each month there is a blog hop for PTI customers to show their stuff. This month's theme was to honor a DT member by casing one of them. I've been a long time admirer of Maile Balles and when I saw that she was asked to join the PTI DT, I was so thrilled. Her style is so refreshing! I chose this card of her's to CASE.
I just adored that punched out circle with the flowers in the center. Here's what I did using Everyday Button Bits! It's a total Chickie card! I used dp (Garden Variety-Cosmo Cricket) instead of the stamped edge, added some stitching and a punched border. I seriously think summer sunrise is one of my all time FAVE PTI colors and I it in the stitched ribbon. Thanks for stopping by and Thanks, Maile for the inspiration! I just think the whole Papertrey DT rocks!!! Hugs, Lisa

Touchdown!

I know, football season is over, but when you have lots of boy birthday's and most of the boys adore football, this stamp comes in handy. FYI, I mount my bare rubber stamps on EZ mount (I just like that cling, for easy use) and Mandy carries it!

Since we live in a district with school colors of Red and Black-sweet little Billy almost never sees another color of jersey. Lucky for me, I still have some of the great Report Card dp by Oct. Afternoon. The Red Twill also comes from Limelight Papercrafts-forgot I had some of this!!! It was a perfect fit for this fun boy card. The little tag is from a new SU set. I had to get it cuz I loved the punch. I just wish the punch wasn't so tiny-not many word fit on the tag.

Keeping it short and sweet-I know how busy you all are. Thanks for coming by! Be sure to stop by the Limelight store. Mandy has gotten in some of the latest and greatest!!!

Just in the Nick of Time

I'm back with a second post for today....it's all Joanne's fault! LOL! She is having her 3rd blogovesary celebration and has some fun challenges planned for anyone who wants to play along. There is a prize involved, but I would have played along regardless. This first week's challenge is to Paper Piece! Love to do it...and I hadn't inked up this little skater cutie, from Stamping Bella, yet.

I had fun with my new Joy Ride dp by Cosmo Cricket-it's perfect for boy cards!!!! Look at his cool skater pants!!!! I also paired it up with the fun Bing 'Bers set by MFT. There you go, easy peasy, and just adorable!

Hugs, Lisa

Spring Chickie!

I had so much fun making this card, and LOOK!!! I used a different {ippity} set! Yep, this cutie is from Sweet Thoughts of Spring. It is my Spring CAS card from last week's challenge.
I kind of laugh at myself, because I really tried to leave off all the little extras I added. So for today, this is as CAS as I'm gonna get! Paper is the adorable, Garden Variety by Cosmo Cricket! I'm also loving my new Blossom nestie, can't seem to put it down. If you need some {ippity} Shop HERE! Please note, all orders placed 2/25-3/4 will not ship until 3/5! thanks for your patience!
I'm off. See you tomorrow, with a later post. I've got a PTI blog hop card to share and it can't go live until 5pm EST! Hugs, Lisa

Wed. Stamp Club-Easter Baskets

Short on words today, so I'll just say I was a stamping fool all weekend long. I am working way ahead on some DT stuff, but managed to squeeze in a few other fun stuff! I got out my Pure Innocence, Basket full of Eggs, and played along with this week's Wed. Stamp Club challenge. I made an Easter Card, and just love the pretty Spring colors. Designer paper is from SU-Sweet Pea pack. There's still a little time to play with this week's challenge, and then another one will be up tomorrow! Have fun! Hugs, Lisa

I am showing two other fabulous new sets. Cards are done and scheduled to go! It's a busy couple of weeks, so I'm working ahead-way ahead! Those berries and solid leaf image made a great Fall Layout. Want to see some more {ippity} check out the BLOG for a full list of participants hopping this week!

FWF-Could I Be Any Cuter????

Happy Friday Morning!!!!! Woooo hooooo, the sun is shining here in Cinci! It looks so good, but I feel like I need my sunglasses inside, with the reflection off all the white stuff around here. It's still cold, no, FREEZING, but I am happy, happy to see the sun! I also am smiling cuz I have the cutest card to share today. Could it be any cuter??? hahaha, just had to say it, since that's the name of the set I used, and I say this to my boys all the time. I ask them, "Could you be any cuter?" You know what their answer is? "YES!" and they are probably right! LOL!

Okay, so you're here for FWF, so here's my card! I used Mercy's Tuesday Sketch for this.

Woohooo! So glad you're here for another week of a Limelight sketch and product challenge. It's an easy one this week, well it was for me. Our product focus is Sentiments-soooo your choices are endless! Here's the sketch:
I just adore that it is loong and lean and of course you can't go wrong with scallops. I've been dying to get out a congrats card to a dear friend that finally announced to the rest of the world that they are expecting. Phew!!! I had to keep a secret a long time and it was hard! I also had some new goodies from Limelight, so I had to use those here. THIS new Unity set, Could I be Any Cuter? is going to be a fave of mine, it's such a great all occasion set (I know, I have many, many faves!!!!). Right now you can only get this set in retail stores, AND Mandy has it!!!! Woohooo!!!! I'm also loving the new Cosmo Cricket papers, Garden Variety (who would have thought you could make a baby card with garden print papers?????), and BURLAP twine (awesome stuff, can never too much twine), buttons are by Basic Grey (just adore those teeny tiny ones!) And I have a an inside shot-I was dying to use the elephant from this set and thought it was perfect for a baby card.

So, do you want a chance at a prize???? of course you do! Come play along with the Limelight DT Challenge. Here's How:

**Use the sketch above and a focus on sentiments

How about a Sporty Birthday?

Last weekend the boys had 4 birthday parties to go to-yes, 4! That was a lot for one weekend, and was I prepared with birthday cards? Of course not. Here's one I made right before we left for the party. One of Joshua's friends, well all of J's friends are sports fanatics-so this card was easy. I used a great, retired, SU set (the name escapes me at the moment). This is one of those sets I will never part with. I ♥ that it has all the sports included in it. I adore this color combo for boy cards, it just works so well. I also added some {ippity}-the HB circle and the numbers background. They both come from Life's Little Moments.
Have a super day! Hugs, Lisa

The day after!

I don't know about you, but the day after a release I am T-I-R-E-D!!!! It's so much fun and so much excitement, and always with a little computer frustration for me-it's just not fast enough sometimes!! I thought the {ippity} release was FABULOUS and I hope we made it lots of fun for all of you! First Off-DING, DING, DING!!!! I have a winner!!!

A random comment on my blog was chosen (no.40 was picked) and this lucky duck gets an {ippity} set of their choice!!!!! Congrats too.......

This is a beautiful card! Love it! Love this set... I need to break down and buy some ippity soon! I don't have any yet
Yeah, Lisa! Please email, Eryn at eryn@unitystampco.com and let her know you won an {ippity} set of your choice.

Thanks to everyone who played along and left a sweet comment. I really appreciate your kind words.

Today I have the challenge card I made for Heather's Recipe challenge. We had to use one of three things on our card instead of designer paper-fabric, tulle, or canvas. I just got some new canvas twill ribbon, and was itchin' to use it. The design for this card popped in my head and when I went down to create, it literally came together in 20 minutes!!! ♥♥♥Love when that happens. ♥♥♥ ( we learned how to add hearts to text in the {Ippity} forum-thx Ky and Kelly!)

I stamped the beautiful leaves and berries from Where You Should Be (I promise I'll use the other sets again soon!, I'm just in love with this one! the other's are just as fabulous!!!) right on the canvas twill-isn't that cool???? Some stitching, top note die, and a button finished it off! Sooooo, I'm ready to ship. You can order your new (and old) {ippity} right here! FREE shipping and 6x6 paper pack with a $50 order!!!!
Enjoy the day! My kiddos are off school, once again. I think we got 9 inches of snow yesterday. It's pretty, but I'm pretty sick of it! I think I've shoveled more this year, than any other (thanks to DH's work schedule!). Stay Warm! Hugs, Lisa

Day 4 {ippity} Sneak Peeks!!!!

4, 3, 2, 1.....(almost Blast off)!!!!! I'll save the big huge letters for tomorrow's Release Party!!!! Today is our last day of peeks for the Winter 2010 {ippity} Release!!!! We've got lots planned for tomorrow-
H{ippity} Hop, Chit Chat, Games, Challenges, PRIZES, and lots more samples with all the new {ippity} stamps. But for today, you get to see projects from the final 2 stamp sets- Sweet Thought of Spring and What Matters Most.

I'll start off with my pretty pink Spring card. It's wishful thinking here in the Midwest. We won't see signs of Spring for another, maybe, almost, 2 months. Right now it is brrrrrr! I used some sweet Farm Fresh dp and created this Happy Spring card. Can you believe I used 7 images on this card. Yep, all from the same set-Sweet Thoughts of Spring. Look at those scallops....there are 4 of them included in the set and each one is different and OH-SO-CUTE! I used 3 of the 4 on my card here.

Next up is a card that kind of took on a life of it's own. It was the last sample I created for these sneak peeks and when I sat down to stamp with it, I had NO idea where I was going to begin. The flowers and this sentiment kind of landed on top of the pile when I opened the package and wha-la! It all came together. The papers are Nook & Pantry and I added a bit of distress ink to the edges. Ribbon, button, and twine are all Papertrey. Eyelet lace was in my stash. The flower was colored in with Copics-I love coloring on the kraft cs-it's such a fun look. Okay, so off you go to see what fabulous eye candy my fellow DT has for you!

DAY 3 {ippity} Sneak Peeks!!!

I know, I've been gushing about {ippity} all week and seriously do love all the new sets, BUT a girls gotta have a personal FAVE, right???? Today is the day!!!! I get to show you my 2 absolute favorite new sets being released on the 15th! Love in Return and Where You Should Be!! Check out the {ippity} Blog for snippets of each of the sets.

You can purchase these new stamps through ME on the 15th!
I'm so in love the leaves from this set and this great sentiment. That sentiment just makes me warm inside, everytime I read it. Farm Fresh dp and the red Perfect Plaid ribbons. These leaves were great for piecing, but I know they'll be fun to color, too. I've got lots of ideas for this set-I can't wait to actually make them.
Next up is my card made with another fabulous {ippity} scrapbooking kit, Love in Return. Again, I have lots of layouts in mind, but decided to show how fun it will be for card makers too. Used lots of Jillibean goodness on this one-love the ruler twill with this sentiment!!! And see those gradiated polka dots on the left, that's a stamp-it's too cool!
I know you are dying to see the rest of the DT creations. So off you go.
Lisa Henke (that's me!)
and the Unity peeps joining us today are:

Ippity Sneak Peek Day 2!!!

sooooo, whatcha think? Wasn't yesterday fabulous????!!!! I think each day will be even better. Today we are peeking projects from Regal Greetings and Music of My Heart (already a FAVE amongst the DT and {ippity} Chicks!!! I thought it was perfect to share with the FWF gals, too!
These two are gorgeous sets, but I must admit a little out of my comfort zone. I am quite proud of the cards I made with them-it helps to have the right dp sometimes! Actually, NO, it helps that the stamps can stand alone-they're THAT good!!!!

I used the CPS sketch for this week on this first card, along with a flourish and sentiment from Regal Greetings. I can't wait for you to see what the other girls did with this set-I'm part of an amazing DT.

Next up is another fabulous birdie paired up with a great music score background stamp (seriously, the background stamp in this set is HUGE!!!!).

I made this one a little vintage-like with the lace and this cosmo cricket dp. I also distressed the edges of the cs with tea ink. Once again, I'll leave you with little chit chat. Up tomorrow are 2 of MY FAVE sets. Stop by the {ippity} blog for snippets of the actual stamp sets. And then hop on through the DT blog to see what they've done with the sets today.

{ippity} Sneak Peek Day 1

Oh, yeah, baby!!!!! Today the fun begins. On Monday, Feb 15, {ippity} is releasing 8 new sets and a new paper pack. I am in love with them all and I hope you will be, too. You'll be able to order them right here on Monday (if you want to pre-order any or all of them before Monday-just shoot me an email)! Today I have a peek at 2 of the new sets-Fishy Philosophy and Moon Beams. I'm just giddy with excitement (and YES, I'll be gushing just like this over the next few days-so get used to it!) There is also a sneak peek image from the set on the {ippity} blog, be sure to stop there to see any additional information.
First up-this gorgeous fish! I kept it clean and simple to show the true beauty of the stamps I used.
Next is a layout of my now 3yr. old. This photo collage of all his little baby parts was taken when he was 3 months old. Since I had the most perfect set to use on a page, I knew it was time to move the picture from a frame into an album.

I made my own moon to hang the sweet stars and moons from and then used the same stamped image hanging from the sentiment. Isn't it sweet????

Okay, I'll keep the chit chatting to a minimum, so you can hop along to see what the rest of the DT did with these two stamp sets. We are also fortunate to have some of the Unity peeps hanging with us this week. Here's the line up:

Eryn Hagen

Eva Dobilas

Heather Rolin (Our Guest Designer)

Kelly Landers

Lisa Henke (that's me!)

Maria Gurnsey

Michelle Woerner

Unity Peeps:

Enjoy the day and come back tomorrow for more sneak peeks.
