Sweet Sunday Sketch-gobble gobble

Gobble, Gobble.....it's almost turkey day! Honestly, it is so hard to believe.I am no where ready for the holidays but I am ready for a little family time, a break from our daily craziness, and I am ready for a whole lot of food!! YUM! Today's new Sweet Sunday Sketch was the perfect excuse to color up the darling turkey image from Taylored Expressions, Calendar Critters. I used my copics to color him up, added some white highlights with a gel pen, and cut it out with the Calendar Critters dies.

I adapted the sketch to fit a top folding card. Same sketch, but looks a little different in this orientation. You'll notice I used a few other TE dies. The new Stitched Stacklet dies. I used the Stitched  Stacklet Rectangles and Stitched Stacklet Circles. I also accented with the Fine Feathers Die and a fishtail flag from Label It

Here is the sketch for you this week!

Reverse Confetti-25 Days of Christmas Tags

I am so happy to be joining Tracey for her 25 Days of Tags holiday event. I am even more excited about posting with the Reverse Confetti team. Looking for some holiday tag inspiration with your RC goodies? Then today you are in luck!

I pulled out my newest love, Gift Card Holder Tag Confetti cut and used it to make a festive framed tag.

I used the Merry & Bright stamp set and coordinating Merry & Bright die set to make a green holiday bulb and tucked in a few sprigs of Holly behind it. That was a late addition to my finished tag. It needed just a little something else to tie the colors together, so I cut a few of the leaves from a darker, teal color. I love how it balances the greens and blues I used. The awesome Hang Ups top my tag and I tied on some silver twine and scattered some TE sequins. I don't know about you, but these tags are getting me excited to dress up some packages. Oh, wait....I need to get some shopping done first. How about you? Have you started your holiday shopping yet?

Make sure you stop by Tracey's Blog to see all of the beautiful Tags each day. There are five days left of this festive event.

Share Handmade Kindness with Lil' Inker Designs

By now you probably have caught wind of the Share Handmade Kindness movement that THE Jennifer McGuire has started. She is a crafty genious and has a HUGE heart. Earlier this month she launched her new blog and shipped out a handful of beautiful packages to some lucky crafters and stamp manufactures. Laura Pryor, owner of Lil' Inker Designs, was thrilled get a special box from Jennifer. So she is spreading the kindness and offering up a FREE stamp set with every order placed on 11/19! It's just the sweetest set, Send Pretty Mail.

I made this card for the occasion and I can't wait to pop it in the mail to a special friend. I used the Send Pretty Mail stamp set to add some stampy accents to the envelope.

I started the card with the Side Stitched Rectangles die and added a stampy sentiment from Sending You stamp set. The coordinating Mini Envelopes Dies & Accessories was a fun way to add some scripty words to accessorize my sentiment. I cut a stitched Leaf Love die cut from .

Thanks for stopping by today. Hop on over to the LID Blog to see Laura's post.

Reverse Confetti-November SFYTT

We are half way through the month of November. Wow! Crazy, right?!! There is still time to play along with the Reverse Confetti November Sketch for You To Try. It's a fun one and you could win a $20 Gift Certificate from RC!

Here is my take on the sketch. I used the oh-so cool new Bubbly Tag Topper Confetti Cut. I cut two of them from white card stock and then ran it through my die cut machine three more times with Limelight, Blu Raspberry, and Tropical Teal card stock. I then took a little bit of time to fill in the bubbles with the different colored dots. I love this look and couldn't wait to try it after seeing some of my fellow Confetti Crew members do this during release week.

I used the Winter Words and Winter Words Coordinates to create my sentiment. I stacked up three of the "peace" die to make a thick die cut word and to add some dimension without having to cut apart tiny little foam dots. The paper flag is from Stitched Flag Trio, I trimmed it down to make it skinnier.....again, giving you more bang for your buck! The sweet hearts are from  Love Note

Here is the sketch.

Curtain Call-Foxy

It's time for a new Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge!

the LEAD will be invited as a Guest Designer in a future challenge!
I couldn't help but pull out my Hey Foxy die and coordinating Hey Foxy Word Dies from Lil' Inker Designs. I love her and she was a perfect fit for this challenge.  I stamped a little with the Hey, Foxy stamps. Isn't it great when dies and stamps just work so well together.

I added a curved design element with the  Border Builders dies from LID, also. I just love the look. Some scattered sequins finished the card off.

Make sure you visit each of the designers' blogs for more inspiration!

Sweet Sunday Sketch 295-Merry

Hello and welcome back! It's Sunday and that means it is time for the next Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge. I loved the layout, but wanted my stripes to go horizontal. So I flipped it. I stamped the So Stripey stripes in Blueberry ink along the bottom.

I layered up the Thanks Tag, Circles 'n Scallops, and the beautiful large Wreath in smooth white. The sentiment was created with Winter Words and Winter Words Coordinates

Here is the sketch.
Be sure to stop by the Sweet Sunday Sketch Blog for the challenge details.
Also to see more inspiration from the DT.

Thanks so much for hanging with me today!
