Clearly Whimsy NEW Release {day 2}

I know, I know.....it's Halloween but you know life moves fast in the crafty world. So I have a festive holiday card today showing off new stamps and dies from Clearly Whimsy. You can get the Scandi Christmas Stamps set and Christmas Word die NOW!  You should have arrived from Alanna Moses's Blog. Leave comments along the way for a chance at a PRIZE!

I started with a kraft circle and stamped the pretty snowflake border from Scandi Christmas along the bottom in Sweet Tooth pigment ink. I then cut the Christmas Word Die 3 times and layered it up to give it some good stability and dimension. Love doing that with word dies.

I then stamped the cute reindeer image on top of the scripty Christmas and tucked in  the word "merry"  to finish off the sentiment in Electric Red ink. I finished it off with a trio of white enamel dots.

 Here's a detail shot.

Be sure to hop on over to Sylvia Blom's blog......she's up next with more Clearly Whimsy inspiration with the new release!

Lil' Inker Designs New Release!

Yay! It's time for the October Lil' Inker Designs release! We have soooo much to share, I KNOW you'll love what is releasing.  I hope you have enjoyed what we have shared this week.  All LID products are available NOW in the shop. You'll want to join us for the hop and leave comments along the way....there are 3 $15 LID gift certificates up for grabs (one for each day).
 Hopefully you arrived from Lea Lawson's blog. If not, hop on back to the LID Blog so you don't miss any of the announcement.

Today I have a whole mix of stuff. Let's get started with the adorable gift card holder I made using the awesome new die called Stitched Gift and Note Card Holder. I love giving gift cards for holiday and birthdays. This little folder will be perfect. *Please note, it does work best with thinner paper or card stock. Be sure you have a bone folder close by to give your score lines a good firm fold.

This is what it looks like on the inside. I love the little tab and the the folded up flap to hold the note or gift card in place.

 I used the Stitched Mats-rounded Rectangle die to make a fun, festive tag for my gift card holder. I stamped a sentiment from Big Christmas onto kraft card stock. Some red polka dotted ribbon, twine and silver bells complete my festive holder.

I used the awesome new  Cover up-Snowflakes die. O000h-emmmm-Geeeee!!! This is one gorgeous die. I cut it from some glitter paper (be sure to use a metal shim to add some extra pressure while it goes through your die cut machine).

 I kept it simple and used the On the Diagonal die cut from kraft card stock. I ran it through my machine again with the beautiful new Holiday Stitched Script Word Dies. I loooove  it. The stitched detail is amazing.

Finally, today I have one more holiday card. This time I used the very cool Baubled Tree die. I tucked in some pretty sequins to make it shine.

Here is a closer look. I also used the Border Builder die to add a snowy, glittery hill for the tree to perch on.

The sentiment is once again from Big Christmas. I selectively inked up just the words from this stamp. More bang for your buck that way! You'll see I used the Stitched Mats-rounded rectangle again. It's a must have! If you didn't pick it up last month, be sure to pop it in your cart this time.

Now head on over to Mary's blog. She's got lots of pretty for you. thanks for hanging with me during this month's release. Now have fun Shopping

Today I have a mix of holiday goodies for you. SOOOO super excited about the stitched Border Builders Die set. It's a MUST have!!! love all the styles. I made some snowy hills on the first card. The Stitched Mats-Rounded Rectangles was my main image panel.  I stamped some of the gorgeous snowflakes from the new Cozy Winter Wishes stamp set.

The sentiment was stamped onto a Pinking Edge Sentiment flag and I added one more snowflake by stamping it on a small Stitched Mats-circle die. Glitter and sequins make it shimmer and shine!

I used another style from the Border Builder die set. I love the whimsical feel the stitching gives to the hill top.

Those gorgeous glittery stars are the new Seasonal Stars die. I can't wait to layer these beauties up on another card.

I added the sentiment from Big Christmas along the bottom with Gold encore ink and embossed it with some clear embossing powder. I tried to show that in the photo below.

Take a look at all the new products I used today.

Lil' Inker Designs Release {day 1}

Speaking of announcements.....we have two new members to the team! Please welcome Chrissy Lawson and Laura Williams. wooohooo!!!

Let's jump in with today's projects. First up is a fun stitched Speech Bubbles die set and the coordinating stamp set I'm All, You All. So much fun! I love that Giant border die. You can make your Speech Bubble any size. I also cut out some Stitched Rectangles

I stamped three different sentiments from the I'm All You're All stamp set. I gave it a festive feeling with some enamel dots.

Who doesn't love donuts??? We adore them in our house. It's always a treat to make a quick run to the local donut shop. We are lucky to have a great home made donut shop in our town. Ms. Cheri's is awesome.
Thanks to this awesome new set, Eat More Donuts,  I'm now having fun making my own home made donut cards. Nothing better than a fabulous punny stamp set.  I started with the awesome Stitched Mats-rounded rectangles and made one of them into a tag for my sentiment and pretty die cut donut.

The cool sprinkles are included in the Donuts die set. I added a touch of sparkle with a few mini sequins. The sentiment is stamped on a Pinking Edge Sentiment Flag and it's from the Eat More Donuts

 I stamped some tone on tone donuts in the background, it's hard to see, but they are there.

I used the hot fudge card base, so I needed a lighter panel for the inside of the card. I added a sweet stamped donut. Yum!

Catered Crop {Hello Stripes}

 **please scroll down for my TCPTues challenge card**

There is a cool Catered Crop Recipe Swap up on Linda's blog. I'm squeezing this one in today. It's the  End Zone Recipe Swap with a great sporty inspiration photo. Yes, inspiration can come from anywhere!  I couldn't decide on which striped paper to use, so I pulled a few different patterns and the Retro Sketch no.138 to make this card.

I used the Lil' Inker Design Hello Word Die along with the MFT Fall Leaves Die-namics. I touched all the edges with some Tea Dye distress ink. I tied the two leaves together with a kraft burlap bow.

Here's a detail shot.

Thanks for stopping by today. LID sneak peeks start tomorrow. Join me for some great holiday cheer!

TCPTues278 {holiday hello}

It's time for the next TCP Tuesday Challenge. We have a sketch this week. I think you will like it. I love anything with a tag. I used the Toppers Cut ups to make my own tag with kraft cardstock. I used a sentiment and some snowflakes from Big Fat Holiday Greetings for the to decorate it.

I used the awesome large Snowflake cut up. I covered it in some Martha Stewart chunky glitter. I also added a pretty silvery Icicle/Slime border cut from some glitter paper. It's so pretty!

A few other details I added you can also find in the TCP store. I added some embossed vellum with the Dots cut up AND the pretty seam binding ribbon finished off the top of my tag.

Here is the sketch.
