It's been a fantastic week around here. I always look forward to the buzz of release week.  It never gets old showing off all the fantastic new product you'll be able to pick up tonight at the release party.  Stamps and Die-namics and new ink!!! I want it all!!!

I'm sharing two ways to use the new GIFT CARD GREETINGS II stamp set and coordinating GIFT CARD POCKET-HORIZONTAL DIE-NAMICS. This little pocket is a must have!

First up, I've got a birthday card.  My boys are all into giving gift cards to their friends come  birthday time. And that's fine by me! Do you know how hard it is to shop for TWEEN boys??? ACK! With a few Die-namics, I whipped up this card and was even able to personalize it with the HIGHRISE ALPHABET UPPERCASE DIE-NAMICS. I cut the J from some Wild Cherry card stock, which matched my papers perfectly.

Check out that cool, bracket edge I added with the red chevron print paper.  I cut it from the new BRACKET EDGE DUO DIE-NAMICS. It's a pair of thin steel dies, and you get two different sizes.

The designer paper is from the It's a Good Life 6x6 pack. I pulled some different graphic patterns. The stars are cut from the Stacking Stars Die-namics, and Star Stax Die-namics.  Stars are always perfect for boys! A few coordinating buttons-Black Licorice, Wild Cherry and Lemon Drop, add just the right touch of pizazz!!

I did up the inside to coordinate, AND to add the GIFT CARD POCKET-HORIZONTAL DIE-NAMICS.  I stamped the sentiment  from the with Wild Cherry Ink.
Have you picked up the new MFT INK yet??  It is really fantastic ink with great coverage. There are two more colors being added to the boutique this month-

 Razzleberry

and
 Lemon Drop

Switching gears back to holiday time. I had to add another fun card to give out one of the many gift cards I'm giving this year. I know some people don't like gift cards, BUT I am NOT one of those people. I really think they are the perfect gift.

Giving them is just as fun as receiving them, especially when I can make a cute card like this.  I have used more of that yummy Crate Paper-Sleigh Ride designer paper (see all the 6x6 paper packs MFT has in stock, HERE), and this time I played up the greys and turquoise colors.  MFT's Steel Grey and Blue Raspberry look great with these papers. I used the Natural cs for the base of my card.

The other new Die-namics that you can purchase tonight is the cool new SNOWFLAKE DOILY. I cut it from some Blue Razzberry cs and then gave it a good coating of Rock Candy Glitter and then I tucked it behind the GIFT CARD POCKET-HORIZONTAL Die-namics.

For the sentiment, I stamped the words onto a neutraI pattern with grey ink and then cut it to fit across the pocket. I added some blue distress ink around the edges and then added a thin border of glitter. I've had LOTS of fun with glitter this release. I'm kind of proud of myself!

One last detail to share is the snowflake accent in the corner. I used the Let IT Snow Die-namics to cut the medium sized snowflake, glittered it up and topped it with a fabulous Blue Razzberry Button, tied up with twine.

Here are the wonderful new Die-namics I used today that you can order tonight. I do LOVE them all, so you can't go wrong with whatever  you choose.

Now head on over to Kim's Blog to see what beautiful inspiration you'll find from the rest of the DT!
And here are the rest of the MFT Products I used on today's cards.

  14. Lisa I love that the first card is so very masculine! Perfect for the hoopster in any family! And I love your glittered snowflake - and that paper is perfect! Thanks for sharing all the ingredients too! What adhesive did you use for the glitter? Can you tell? Will you? Trade secret? :)

  15. Hi, Queen Mary. I tried to contact you directly but couldn't find an email or blog. So hopefully you'll check back here (and I'll include this info in my post later tonight). My adhesive of choice is MonoMulti (green bottle) liquid glue. I just give my die cut pieces a good coverage and then dump my glitter on top. I used a spare sheet of paper below my project to catch the excess and then pour it right back in to my container. No secrets, here....hope that helps. Thanks for asking. Hugs!
