Day 3 with MFT Teaser Time {Only One}

It's the third day of the MFT Teasers and today is our sentiment day. As a card maker, stamper, scrapbooker, you know you can never have too  many words.  A new sentiment can freshen up any old stamp image, or paper.  Love that.

First up today I'm showing a card made with the new Triple Scoop stamp set.  You can earn this set for FREE with a qualifying order next week, and all throughout the month of December.  You can read all about the Triple Scoop Program HERE.

 It's a pretty sweet deal.  Plus with the fun graphic style of this set it's WELL worth the extra to get it for FREE.
 I first used the newest Stax Die-namics-Postage Stamp Stax to cut out my layer for my sentiment. I then used some washi tape to help mask off the top flourishes and inked only the words in grey ink.  After I stamped that, I cleaned the stamp extra good. Twine to be exact and then stamped it on a scrap piece of paper to make sure NO residual ink or cleaner was left behind. Take the extra time to do this, so you don't muck up what you just stamped.  Next I used more washi tape to mask the words this time and inked ONLY the flourishes with MFT Wild Cherry Ink. Gorgeous!!
I picked a mix of patterns from this new Valentiney paper by My Mind's Eye-Lost & Found 3-Ruby. Guess what?? You can get it from the MFT Boutique. SWEET!  I hit all the edges with more of my favorite Antique Linen Distress ink.
Here's another look at the new dies and the sentiment. I also cut a teeny tiny heart from the Notched Tag Die-namics.  I attached it with the Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher.
My card needed just another little extra something, so I added a strip of the new MINI DOUBLE DOT BORDER DIE-NAMICS.  I cut it from a red pattern paper to really make it pop.

I have a scrapbook page to share next. I am still struggling with how to photograph these larger 12x12 layouts. I scored a new DSLR camera on Black Friday and I am learning it and practicing with it. I'm super excited to have a little lesson on shooting in Manual next week with my friend who's a photographer.

So for now, here's what I have for you. While organizing some pictures the other week, I found this photo of me and hubby on our wedding day. It was in a frame that broke, years ago, so it was just free floating around in my craft room. I now made it permanent on a scrapbook page.

My colors were Purple. Plum purple to be exact, but my wedding bouquet were lighter tones of purple  mixed with cream.  I played those colors up here. The beautiful quote from last month's Triple Scoop, which will now be available for purchase on release night., is called Clearly Sentimental about New Beginnings.
I had fun adding lots of the new Die-namics. My favorite is the new circular flourish, SENTIMENTAL FLOURISH.  Oh, my it's pretty, especially paired with the new CHRISTMAS ROSE.  I cut two of those from MFT felt-Grapesicle and Whip Cream.

  I also tucked in a bunch of Rolled Roses, the orginal and the  Rolled Rose Duo Die-namics. I just adore the teeny flowers.

Under the picture, I added the new BRACKET DUO DIE-NAMICS.  I stamped the month with the July stamp from Inspired by Months of the Year and then (you can really see it all that well) the year was stamped with the numbers from the Journal it-Calendar Basics set.

Here's another look at the sentiment/title I made for the layout. I used the Designer Label 2 Stax Die-namics and added a few Finishing Flourishes along with the rolled roses.  I used the larger flourishes along the top and filled in a few corner flourishes from the LOVEY DOVEY SENTIMENTS set.  My wedding day was wonderful, filled with so much love.  It surely was the first day of my new life. I wouldn't change any of it!
