MFTWSC97-Love hearing from You

Welcome back.  It's a two-post Wednesday. I am taking a break from the November Teasers to share a non-teaser card for this week's Wednesday Stamp Club.  I needed to take a break from holiday stuff. So I went Shabby Chic with this week's card. I have been doing some reorganizing of my stamps and I have had fun re-discovering some older BUT still spectacular MFT stamps and Die-namics

I used WELL WORN GREETINGS  today (all links can be found below, too). I was going for a bit of the shabby chic look. The papers are from Crate Paper, called On Trend. That diagonal stripe pattern sucked me in. I love mixing this bold, graphic with the pretty, soft patterns.

I cut the oval with the matching oval Die-namcis,  included with this set, Well Worn Greetings. The Fishtail banner was made by layering up the original FISHTAIL FLAGS STAX and the newer, FISHTAIL FLAGS LAYERS STAX DIE-NAMICS. A serious MUST HAVE!!!

In place of the tab element from the sketch, I added a heart from HOMESPUN BIRDHOUSE, topped with a LEMON DROP BUTTON (tied up with the yummy MFT TWINE!!! LOVe that stuff!).

I distressed the edges of my paper and sponged them all with a bit of Antique Linen Distress ink.  Card stock is MFT Whip Cream and Steel Grey

Here is the sketch to work with this week. Love a great fishtail banner! Can't wait to see what you do with it.

You’ll want to be sure to play along for your chance at the weekly prize, valued at up to $20 in vouchers to the MFT Boutique. You can submit your entry using the keyword MFTWSC97 to the Gallery at Splitcoaststampers. Entries for this week’s challenge will close on Tuesday, November 13 at noon EST.

Looking for inspiration with the sketch??? Head on over to the MFT Blog for the list of DT members playing today.
