Something to Smile About

Yep, that's right.....there is something BIG coming to MFT that is surely going to give you something to smile about.  We've been keeping a big secret for a little while now and today we get to shout it from the roof tops!

We are all pretty psyched about this news. Her first stamp set will debut during the August release.  You're going to LOVE it!

Today I colored up the PI-Little Shutterbug and used Jen's Deconstructing sketch to show her off.  She's adorable, and she does make me smile.

It may be hard to see, but I did tuck in three different scalloped strips behind my main image. I used the Simply Scallops and Simply Scallop Medium Die-namics in the middle and then in the green polka dot, I cut a strip of the Small Scallops Border Die-namics.  Yes.....there is a scallop for every need!

This whole card came to be from that awesome strip of paper I stamped the sentiment on.  The paper pack is Simple Stories-Summertime!  I couldn't help but use that already-pieced-up- scrappy-sun ray panel.

A sweet wooden floral button tied up with Maraschino Red twine  for an embellie!

Welcome Lisa Johnson....I know you are going to be a perfect fit for MFT!

Kim has the formal announcement over on her blog.....check it out and be sure to give Lisa Johnson a warm, friendly MFT welcome!

Thanks for stopping by!
Here are the Die-namics I used on today's card.....its was a Scallop kind of day.

PLUS, this is a great visual of the variation from each of these Scallop Die-namics.

  2. Hehe...so my 3 year old grandson just saw me commenting on your card and told me it was "so pretty". Then he took a closer look and saw that she was holding a camera so we had to smile for the camera, lol=)
