MfT Day 2 Teasers

Welcome to March and welcome back to day 2 of the MFT March Teasers.  Wasn't yesterday's WTG-Puddle Jumper, just the cutest??!!  What about those peeks at some of the new Die-namics???  Do we have your attention???

Today is another fun filled day.  We've got samples for the following new sets:

Inspired by Birds, Inspired by Butterflies, Flopsey Goes Camping.

What? Inspired by Butterflies, you might ask???? Yes, this is not a new set.... BUT there are now Die-namics to cut out those beautiful butterfly with ease! LOVE that.  So if you have the set, you NEED the dies, and if you don't have either.....make sure you pop this one in your cart on release night. The butterflies AND sentiments are gorgeous!

Here's my card. It's a tall and skinny one, measuring 6 x 3.75 inches. That new LARGE LEAFY FLOURISH is HUGE....it's awesome!

I actually used one fo the sentiments from INSPIRED BY BIRDS .  I stamped it on one of the new OVAL STAX.  what are the Stax you  wonder???

We are so excited to introduce you to Die-namics STAX; our new series of nesting dies. With March brings the first in the series, Oval STAX, but know that this is only the beginning.

Oval STAX are designed to layer with our large Oval Doily Die-namics. Each set contains 7 pieces, and at a retail price point of $26.95, is VERY competitive with other nesting dies currently on the market. "
I layered it on top of one of one the OVAL OPEN SCALLOP DOILY DUOS.  I stamped a few pretty flourishes from Finishing Flourishes stamp set.  I needed them to fill a little of the "white space" on my oval Stax, and I thought it was a nice tie in with the GIANT, LARGE LEAFY FLOURISH DIE-NAMICS.

Now I'll move on to the gorgeous new INSPIRED BY BIRDS stamp set. I know you love the Inspired By line of stamps and this one does not disappoint, either! There are 3 wonderful bird inspired images and LOTS of beautiful sentiments to go along with it.
I stamped this flying bird image onto x-press blending  cs, and then colored it with copics.  I felt it was a bit bright for a bird, so I touched it up with some w-1 and w-3 markers.

I cut two more ovals from the OVAL STAX 1 AND 2 DIE-NAMICS and stamped this uplifting sentiment. The layout is Karen's Sweet Sunday sketch-I used an oval in place of the circle.

The cool thing about the Stax is that they all work together. The dies within each set give a wider edge when layered and if you want to have a smaller, narrow-er border when layering, then you can stack (Stax) them between each set. I ♥ that!

Here's a detail shot of the bird and the pretty black flourishes.
