PTI Blog Hop

As usual this date always sneaks up on me. It's Papertrey Ink blog hop time. I finished my card earlier today and I love it. Hope you do too. I glanced at the challenge the other day (find a summer inspiration piece) and then I stumbled onto this summer image that inspired me. It is this relaxing scene from Potterybarn. I just love the colors-the blues of the water, browns from that comfy chair, and the pop of yellow with those lanterns and the beer! I also loved the movement of the waves, the lines and curves of the chair. This is what inspired me to create this card. I really wanted to use the boat image from Men of Life, but I don't have it, so I used what I had. Can't go wrong with flowers. I used Beautiful blooms, Papertrey (love this original PTI sentiment set), and polka dot basics for this card. Here's a close up of the details on the flowers.
